Georgia loves the Tackling fuel.

Our biggest opponent this season is complacency.

It was last year as well (Kent State, Missouri)
We stumbled through some games, but did wake up for the big ones.

There. We agree. Scared?

I think we should both be afraid! But remember I am a middle aged woman who doesn’t give a crap what anyone says or thinks about me. Oh yeah, I have sharp knives and carry permit. Lol

They beat a top 5 team in the country. It will work out during the season

Right now it looks like the only team that can beat Georgia is Georgia. They need to not get bored or complacent.

FSU played much better than UGA did. I don't see the big issue here. Stetson and Monken are gone so frick the new UGA.

Maybe he figured FSU was the top 10ish team with the best win in the country.

Or maybe he watched Clemson get slapped all over the field by Duke and figured FSU will walk through the conference undefeated

Texas at #4 is a MILE worse than having FSU at #1, which is a sham in itself

Surprised these overreactionary choads don't have Colorado in their top 10

Do you think UGA is currently the #1 team?

No I don’t think the team that went into halftime with only 17pts over an FCS team should be #1 right now

I’ve seen more out of other teams thus far

And I've seen less out of other national champions.

The best team at the end of the year is the team best at improving each week.
And that usually takes a combination of coaching and talent.

As a UGA fan, Not worried about it. Only thing that matters is being in Top 4 at end of year and in the CFP.

I'm not sure they did. LSU and Tennessee should've BOTH been in the 10-12 range to start the season.

The second part is FSU really doesn't have that tough of a schedule, not seeing the ACC nearly like the SEC for this year.

Exactly. People assume a team is good because they had a good year the year before....or because historically they have been good, or because they were ranked high. If LSU finishes 6-6 or worse the game will not be looked at in the same light.

Or, if FSU falls apart and finishes 6-6 and LSU finishes 11-1 it will be looked at as a fluke. Either could happen. It is only a guess at this point and nobody knows how good anybody is exactly until we are farther into the season.

I'm good with it. I hate being #1 unless it's the last poll of the season.
