Once the playoffs expand, what SEC teams will constantly be in?

I fully expect us to get at least two in every year and possibly 3 or 4.
Let’s just call it 4, which teams do you think are best suited to constantly be in the mix every year?
My picks(in order)
UGA
LSU
OU
Bama
Next up:
Tennessee
Texas
Florida
Auburn

I think Oklahoma and Texas are in for a rude awakening when they join the SEC.

Consistently? UGA and Bama.
LSU will rotate in every now and then.

As it stands now, UGA and Alabama will be regular fixtures.
LSU and Oklahoma will be in fairly consistently.
Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Texas will all expect to be yearly contenders to get in as well.
I expect that three SEC teams will make a 12-team playoff every year, and some years four may make it. I expect that the expanded playoff will make playoff appearances the main barometer of the program is for over half of the conference. Missing the playoffs for three or four years will be evidence of a stagnant program, and will lead to a coach being on the hot seat.

2 teams from any given conference will be the max. Playoff expansion is being done to include more conference champs and a couple G5 teams.

I need to see OU and Venables look more like a Bob Stoops coached team than a John Blake coached team before I agree with this.

None. No teams will be consistently in. That's the point of the SEC.
Too many teams ... the Big 6 ... that, when hungry, can get really good really quick. And too hard to prevent complacency - as Smart and Saban say publicly.
But that's the secret sauce of the SEC. It'll be two or three different teams every year. On a rotating cycle.

Expanding the playoffs is about excluding the SEC, not including it

No idea.
It depends on how the scheduling works out.

I’ll be shocked if 2 G5s get in. It would take something crazy like a 4 or 5 loss P5 Conf champ to get 2 G5 champs in. The only time that has really happened was Covid year and FSU once won the ACC with 5 losses. They had divisions then and that’s highly unlikely with divisions going away.
It’s going to be the P5 and 1 G5 team plus 6 at large. SEC will almost assuredly have 3 every year if not 4.

No it’s not, Sankey had said publicly; very recently. The goal is to get 6 teams in, they wouldn’t have changed it if they couldn’t get more than 2 in.

Is it crazy to think we’ll have 5 teams in it every year?

What the hell did you see from Oklahoma this year to make you think they'll be a consistent playoff team?

You need to be planning on beating Alabamas arse next year.

3 would have made it in 2022. That will be normal for the SEC.

LSU will be looking for a new HC after 5 years if Kelly doesn't win a championship at LSU.

It will essentially be what the premier league is now: 7 teams who think they should be there all or most years vying for 4 spots.
You’ll have teams go on runs but there’s going to be a lot of rotation IMO.
