Once Texas joins, what appeal will A&M have?

- Obviously to recruits out of Texas, there’s no point in going to A&M.
- The media will be obsessed with UT and not give two shits about A&M.
- A&M’s gay cult-ish culture will seem even more weird.
- Texas will have wayyy more viewers so that will make SECN and espn happy.

We still get their oil money and have a pseudo military academy in the conference, right?

Real answers?
Some people enjoy a more conservative college environment.
We have more room for facilities. They have a little more money but they are landlocked in Austin which means it costs them three times as much to build the same thing we can plop in a cowfield because they have to build up.
We have the better coach/roster combo at the moment and our boosters are less likely to frick up the next hire.
We aren’t as arrogant and eventually SEC fans will come to appreciate that.
