I lived in Austin for a few years so I know what you’re talking about.
I don’t really want them in the conference but I can also look at where college sports is going and see how it could happen.

Referring to A&M as having a “gay cult-ish culture” in a comparison conversation with UT is laughable

The silver lining for Aggies is the division shift. Jimbo wasn’t breaking out in a division with Saban, but right now I take our roster and coaching situation over Texas or OU. If LSU takes a step back for a bit while the O drama plays out we will have a window to have some good seasons against every team we really care about in the new division.
I am not guaranteeing any of this of course, but an impartial college football fan could agree with the logic. The Aggie fear is more about a post-Jimbo era but who knows what the sport looks like then.

That’s a good point. The scheduling could work out with the expanded playoff where we don’t have the Alabama block on us

You joke about this, but just wait until you see Texas. There's a reason they say "Keep Austin Weird" over there.
Texas is the type of school to say “we won’t play in the state of xyz because of their transgender law or voting law.”

#1 Saban is in his 70’s so this shouldn’t be your long term concern
#2 That’s sort of going away anyway because of playoff expansion
#3 New SEC scheduling will probably have everyone play a home and home very 4 years and will also put the top 2 in the SECCG regardless of division/pod so nobody is really avoiding the top teams much.

I downvoted because I find your unfettered homophobia offensive.

We know. Texas has the literal gays and A&M has dudes that arent really gay.... but they want people to think they are gay with their strange chants and 1920s cheerleading moves? I dno, the whole thing is pretty weird.

Exactly how many years was it where Alabama was the only team to beat y’all? Let’s not act like A&M was only one team away from nattys. Y’all have no room to talk about Texas in regards to arrogance and delusion

Y’all won’t a natty in 2019, 2003 and 2001? While also making the championship game in 2011?
