Yes he did. It was a set up . And that is what Mullen was in the officials ear about.

He went for a knee or ankle. He got the ankle.
Watch it again, it is what it is.

Not a dirty play at all. Not sure you realize how fast shite is happening on the field.

Look, it’s 100 percent unfortunate that Fitz got hurt but he’s playing football and that hit was clean with a bad result.

I concur. I hit rewind and watched it. One player tackled him high, and another OM player hit him low. His ankle rolled under the lower tackler.

Yes. The people saying it wasn't dirty haven't hit rewind and watched it again. Fitz was wrapped up and #3 dives right down into his legs. That's why Mullen was losing his shite on Luke.

I don’t think it was dirty or intentional but sad non the less. I hope he can recover, he is a hell of a talent! And kicked our arse up one side and down the other

This. Rewind and watch it again. The Ole Miss defender went low right after his lower legs. He was already tied up with another defender. Looked pretty damn dirty to me.

And it was a 6'2 230lbs middle linebacker who went after his legs, not some 5'9 165lbs DB.

Surprised this doesn't happen more often due to targeting. More players go low now.

Fitzgerald is hard as frick to get down. If I'm the second guy going in you better believe I'm wrapping up his legs. Sorry, not sorry.

The guy is a very mobile 6’5” 210+lb runner. Everyone on the field should be going low on him.

As far as we can tell he has not gone after anyone's knee or ankle tonight.
