Rebels, what is your take on this Louisville game? Specifically, I'm wondering if there are any concerns about matchups between units.
There appears to be a significant amount of experience in Louisville's secondary and a sneaky amount of talent on the overall defensive unit. Since it is the first game, there is always the chance of offenses stalling early.

Not sure if there is a legitimate concern about this game, but perhaps there should be. You always have to like your odds with Chambliss, but I'm expecting Louisville to compete for the ACC title so this should potentially shape up to be a tight and stellar match up.
What say you?

They have some dudes. The coach is a giant killer. We better not sleep and play our game.

If we show up and aren’t looking forward, we should win by 10+

I wouldn’t be shocked if we won by 30 or lost. Brohm’s teams usually play better in the middle of the season so I’m glad we aren’t playing them the 4-5th game

They whole season depends on beating LSU .They could go 1-11 but if they beat the tigers it will be a success.

Certainly not going to be a cakewalk. I watch #4 Perkins when on defense because he is a local guy. Hoping he has a good game & year.

It a tough sneaky first game that’s for sure. I could see an upset if Ole Miss has some turnovers but otherwise I think Ole Miss is going to be too much

Brohm is a hell of a coach with 29 wins in his first 3 seasons at Louisville. Took fricking Purdue to a Big 10 title game. He's a top 10 coach in the country.

They have a Round 1 DE and a great running back room. It'll be a tough matchup and Brohm will have his team ready to play.

2 NFL backs and an NFL edge rusher.
Should be a fun test.

Talking about #4 Perkins on defense, his dad worked at a tire dealership that is a customer of mine when Sunturane was playing in high school. He bet a guy 100 bucks that he would return a kickoff for a touchdown the next game. He did it. He rushed for over 300 yards as a quarterback in the 3A state championship game. Kiffin was there. Stood in the endzone by himself the whole game.

Louisville always plays tough. Ranked team. Solid but not great coach.

OM rolls. Looking forward to this game personally.

If we play our game and don't have miscues on offense and our D makes adjustments to whatever the hell Louisville does in game 1, then we should be fine.
