Gotta think DJ Lagway gives us a chance. We've actually looked like a pretty good team every game he's the #1 QB.

He took 0 sacks playing on 1 leg yesterday, against a team who knew that and was trying to pressure the shite out of him. Elite pocket presence for a true frosh.

He needs to be able to run some against Ole Miss and we will have a chance to win probably.

I think the Rebs win a close one. Both teams have good kickers if it comes down to that.

Minus QB injuries we probably win both UT and uGA, although Napier pulled 13 points off the table against UT, I still think he'd find a way to blow that one.

He didn't run a ton even when he was healthy, it doesn't seem Napier has much running QB left in the post-AR playbook.

Here's the thing. I think Ole Miss is a really really tough matchup for Florida. First they have an excellent D that can stop the run without much commitment. Secondly, and more of an issue I think, is the fact the Florida struggles mightily vs a good spread pass game. Texas had our secondary making errors left and right. Lastly, their qb can run which will be the nail IMO.

Agree with all of this. Think it'll be a game similar to A&M. 40-20 range.

Yep but it will take a few QB runs to keep that Ole Miss defense a little honest.

Sucks for Florida that it’s a noon game.

Yep.

Also, Ole Miss has maybe the best DL in CFB. If Lagway can't move, we're not winning.

Ole Miss has an entire game to watch how UF calls plays with Lagway having limited mobility.

They will just run blitz on every play, likely taking out the big play element from Florida's offense.

Have to give it to Napier, it would have been so easy for them to give up and now they're a team people don't want to play. Getting Tre Harris back should be big for us. Dart has learned he can rely on other players so with Harris back it should just open things up even more.

Think about this Florida schedule. They could finish 6-6 and all 6 of their losses have a legit shot at the playoff.

We are living in a strange world where UGA and Tennessee are both massive Florida fans this weekend.

The 12 team playoff has people acting crazy

Here is what makes our defense so good. We can stuff the run with a 6 man box. We can bring 4 and get home and cause havoc.

We are better against a running QB than a pocket passer because we use Perkins as a spy kind of. He fills a gap but doesn’t rush. Waits for the QB to flush and runs him down. It has been super effecting against Sellers, Ark QBs, and Arnold 2nd half.

Pocket passers who can get it out quick and WR who can run after the catch are what hurts us.

Are your DBs real good in man coverage because Lagway can hit quick passes deep down field unless the DB is really blanketing the WR. He may be the best in the country at that in his limited playing time this season.

Thankfully this was what DJ did against LSU

Amos is very good. One of the better corners in the conference. Opposite him is Canady. He has his moments, but can also get burned and is prone to penalties.

Amos is like a top 20 pick at CB. No one ever throws his way anymore. The other corners are solid. I wouldn’t say lockdown. Safety is our weakness.
