Is a "dropped" hammer that effective? I would think "swing" would would be a more fitting verb.

Excuses for the hammer doping on which aligation? Tunsil stuff? 4 under Freeze? Or the Saunders stuff that got ULL to lose 11 scholly over 3 years?

Say that the NCAA "drops the hammer"....most of us will be somewhat bummed, but other than the team I cheer for being in trouble with the NCAA, it will not affect my life at all, and I'm assuming the same could be said of others.

I say frick it let everyone cheat, the big schools are still going to get the athletes they want it's a simple as that. Being paid isn't going to affect a kids choice to goto Alabama or Boise State

You're thinking about the wrong kind of hammer, Norm. The hammer referenced as being dropped would be from a firearm, not your standard carpenter's hammer or sledgehammer that is typically swung.
