See that's the thing....neither side really cares about the other at all, at least not in the context of politics. It's all about winning arguments and "being right", particularly on the internet, damn the consequences. Everyone is going to have to stop having that mindset or it will never get better. I don't exclude myself from this either. So many people troll now that a lot of people are constantly riled up and demonizing the party they aren't affiliated with. I think a lot of folks just weren't ready for the internet.
