You won regular season 2025 first year SEC. Congrats and way to kick in the door.

What to expect for the next two games?

That was a miracle top of the 9th. And we still barely won. I don’t expect any more wins in Austin. They hit the heck out of the ball. We can pull off one. That might be it.

Yeah our goal was to get one. The rest is gravy.

The grand slam should be noted by the board and also to close it out by the freshman. That is big boy baseball away from your park.

Bissetta hit a scud missile that hasn't hit its target yet.

Texas should handle business last 2 games. I think their pitching is deeper

i don't know about y'all but in today's age of NIL and crap, why can't we buy a lock down closer? The only times we have gone deep into the CWS, we had closers like Jonathan Holder and Landon Sims. Losing in a walk off no doubter is just frustrating as hell.

It's baseball. Our Sat starter is gettable. Volantis has moved to Sunday, but he loses gas around the 4th inning and starts to walk batters while throwing the occasional meat pitch. We have had our issues with late inning walks and that cost us last night. Ole Miss played a more complete game last night and they deserved the dub. They can definitely do it again.

And the swagger they had too. Holder walking out from the bullpen with "Gods gonna cut you down" as the walkout music and then take care of business is definitely what we need again.

That was big for Ole Miss. Walks and hit batters really doomed Texas in late innings. See how it goes today, need to answer

I left out Bobby Thigpen in 85 only because he gave up the walk off to Greg Elena with Miami. Normally, he was a really good closer and outfielder as he proved in the majors. At one time he held the record for saves in the MLB but not sure that still stands.

Good game, Rebels. By the end of last night’s game I felt like I had just experienced an entire conference season of baseball in one evening.
