The fear on this board is delicious

It's not fear it's the stupidity of it all, and it's ruining college football. We have one too at State. Our best DL by far Will Whitson is entering his 7th year. He played three at Independence CC(20-22), then two at Coastal(23-24), then was at State last year. He has gotten two legit, unlike Chambliss, redshirts after only playing four games in 24 at Coastal and shutting it down, which I think is stupid, and a medical after blowing his knee out against Arizona St this year. He is by far our best DL and I still think it's stupid and he needs to either go to the NFL, or go on with life and do grown men things. Same with Chambliss. shite is stupid.

I’m actually glad he gets another year. Good for him and good luck.

Time to admit that there are no rules now

Litigating to prevent the NCAA from enforcing rules doesn't mean there are no rules.

If basically you can get a local judge to say whatever you want you could in theory be eligible forever.

and the rest of civil law is all about having more money to spend on lawyers than your opponent so you can buy whatever ruling you want

The key point from this case is, "Did the lawyers on the case for both sides exact the most money for themselves?"

Maybe y’all should care more about football and fight for your players.

There is no venue. The only venue now is in Lafayette County Chancery Court, before the same judge that wrote the magnus opus summary opinion that almost 2 hours to read out loud and was so decisive than the appeal court just issued a 1 page ruling that basically only stated denied.

I don’t see this reaching the Supreme Court between now and 2028 session.

Can you not read? He is eligible and playing a 7th year next year and is our best DL. It's freaking idiotic. I don't care if it helps win a football game or not.

If chambliss is so good why’s he afraid of the nfl draft?

Cause he's a very good to great college QB and probably not big enough to stay in the NFL long.

Wouldn’t it go to a lesser court first?
No. Yaboy is right that the only appeal from here would be to the USSC. About a 0.0% chance they’d grant cert and hear the appeal of this decision in this posture. I doubt that the NCAA even attempts it.

They scored like 24 points and that's with Kiffin and Weis Jr.

No they refused to hear it. Put your BS bias aside. The NCAA put up no witnesses or fight. They didn’t even show for the verdict. They are trying to get the government to get involved and put their balls back in their pants. The kid wasn’t allowed a medical redshirt because it wasn’t a football injury. They made statements that simply were lies in their rulings. They allow Beck to play how many years? Pavia?

Some of you are ignorant. They want legislation to put a stop to an out of control system. They are using this case.

The NCAA set the precedent. We’re just making sure it’s being followed.

As well as the fact that he didn't miss any practices or games due to this sore throat.

All the pressure is on Kiffikins. And the second year in a row #1 transfer class LSU. They bought the best players. Shouldn’t be a problem.
