My only problem with them is they pretend to be southern aristocrats at a small, elite private school.
When reality is the opposite. They are a poor school, ranked near the bottom of the SEC and most of the schools in the SEC have a wealthier, larger alumni base than them.
Know your role, have some humility and stop with the pretend southern wealth crap.

I'm speaking purely from an academics stand point. The academic requirements at Southeastern(GPA etc) are higher than that of Ole Miss. There is no special designation for political correctness.
As dictated by the judiciary the entrance requirements for every higher learning institution in the State of Mississippi are identical....and that reason is 100% about political correctness.

quote:I don't think it had anything to do with political correctness as it went on for years. I think it was more about let's compromise, settle this thing and move on. The entrance requirements' being equal is such a small component to the settlement that why does it really matter? The funding of redundant programs at the HBCUs did far more damage to Ole Miss and MSU than the lowered entry requirements. There is just so much money to go around and the Ayers' settlement funneled money to the redundant programs to give the less privileged (read that anyway you want) an opportunity at professional careers.

So your degree is in what area ? And what do you do for a living ? I've got a Ph.D. From ole miss . Frick off

One SEC school making fun of another SEC school is major chutzpah.

Don't quite get the hate here. Most Gamecock fans I know like Ole Miss. I know my fraternity brothers from Cola had quite a few friends wind up in Oxford.

Complete lie. Most Ole Miss grads are corrupt politicians with ties to white supremacy or fat local sheriffs with ties to white supremacy
Half my extended family graduated from OM and the truth is, they're white supremacists with ties to politicians and fat local sheriffs, not the other way around. I don't know what sort of lazy-assed bumfrick thalidomide-baby hick region you're from, but down in the Delta, when we become white supremacists, we care enough to do it right, not make it some sort of part-time hobby on the side.
