I worked in insurance for a bit. Considered buying a book until I realized the turnover was crazy high for your staff. Honestly, it’s a frick ton of work some days and then slow as shite others. Spent a lot of the day dealing with dipshits regarding billing and basic information stuff. Calling leads. Building policies, which can be a pain in the arse depending on what all is needing coverage. But, I damn sure called my folks back.

This thread is really proving your point. With all the “anti-hatred” and shite being thrown out.
It’s should be a requirement that if you come to the comments on any forum/comments section/ to shite on someone’s appearance, then you have to post a picture of your mongoloid looking arse. Bet the shite talk would drop drastically.
Input on incest? There are quite easily accessible definitions of the word on websites other than a message board.
I’m not really a big Neil young fan as I always hated his vocals but I’m having a hard time connecting anything in these lyrics to something “nazi”. I feel folks have gotten a little irresponsible with the use of “nazi”. Just because you don’t agree with something being said, or in this case sung, doesn’t mean it has nazi undertones.

Also, Sweet Home Alabama fricking blows. The rest of their catalog on the other hand…
Don’t stop believing

Piano man

To absolute hell with those two trash bag songs.
Great band. A buddy of mine saw them a week ago and the did a Q & A after.

My band recently played a spot that they played a couple years ago and we’ll be playing there again in a few months. It was pretty cool seeing their names on the wall.
I’d shoot for one in the higher range. A used J-45 would be close to 2k. Maybe a little closer to 2,500.
Well, maybe a slight explanation of why is the fact that they were all pretty close friends. To the point that they had even had regular weekend dinners between them.
Buddy of mine was trying to find a certain picture on his ex’s phone. Came across some pics that were not of his pecker. Finds messages from ol boy (who mind you was married to a super hot woman who is cool as hell).confronted her about it and the dumb arse still denied, for a bit at least. Went to the guys house and beat the absolute shite out of the guy. He bless showing anyone and everyone nude pics of her for years after.
He’s now happily married to a great woman and have an awesome kiddo.

Also, a bunch of us took bets on how long before that trash bag would screw around on him.

I enjoy the guy but man do most of songs not sounds exactly the same.

Guess that really not too much different from the majority of artists now a days.
I did back in the day. Had no idea until after I moved away and came across a news article about it. We knew that it happened but thought that it was in the house across town. Lady was pregnant and murdered by her boyfriend. Super sad story.

The hardest part is getting your name out there. Start small and keep at it. The gigs will come.
We started out doing restaurants, coffee shops, and damn hotel bars. Sizing down the band as we had to.
Put together a solid press kit through email (let em know style covers/originals timeframes) and blast email the shite out of places. Follow up with phone calls. Don’t let the gate keepers get ya down. They will absolutely be jerks at times. Just be relentless about it and prove em wrong once you finally get the gig.
You’ll get turned down more than you’ll get the gig, at first.
I love the pumpkins and have no interest in changing your mind. I will say that I’ve seen them twice and both times billy corgan came off as a whiny pretentious dork. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s well known but…

There are family videos from back in the 80’s of me dancing to this song. I guess I was slightly obsessed with it as a small child. Hadn’t heard it for years and when my grandmother died, I had to drive her car back home to get some stuff, 3 hours away, and found this CD in her console.

Absolutely. Also, you don’t have to be OBESE to be addicted to food.
I have 2 altec Lansing hydrablasts. Only like $85 and sound great, so much so that I’m surprised they are under $120 or so.
They can connect/sync up and the kiddos love the flashing lights that sync with the music.
My band is more of a roots rock style band but that is pretty fluid. I have songs that are country/bluesy rock/folk/singer songwriter/ etc.
I never really write with a specific style in mind. I do add the progression, then take what I have to the band and we flesh it out as it needs to go.

ETA: all that to say, the vocal melody will and feel of the lyrics will give me the style
