1. How do you feel about this game? Hugh Freeze was on TV just a while ago stating the loss to Memphis really lit a fire under the team and the practice this week was great.

2. Are injuries the sole factor in recent woes for the rebels? Possible complacency may have been an issue?

I think losing Tony Conner was huge. But I think reality is, is that it is complacency. I think this team has obviously shown that they're good. But the tackling has been so bad, and to me that is laziness.

JJ had a great week of practice, too.

I think we have several really big issues.
We don't have a good running back.
Our O-line is shite.
We haven't been flying around the field like last year.
We don't wrap up.
We play soft arse coverage.
Our LBs are shite.
I think that about covers everything...

Wouldn't you have thought the Florida loss would have done this?

Lol. As we speak Myles Garrett and Daeshon Hall are taking Swag Kelly out for dinner and drinks. Cause in a few days they're gonna double team that arse.

Laremy tunsil has only given up one sack..... Derek Barnett and he is 100 percent healthy. Hall on the other hand might get to him a few times

I absolutely HATE when people use the injury bug as an excuse. But we have 4 starting offensive linemen injured, haven't had Tunsil until this week, 1st round draft pick Tony Conner has been injured since Bama, and Robert Nkemdiche was injured early in the game last week. I think injuries have played a huge factor in our woes since Bama but Freeze play calling like a retard hasn't helped.

All that said, I think we have a good chance against A&M this week but I'm not sure if we can pull it out.

The Aggies sure seem to always come in with the trashy commentary and middle school cut downs when everyone else is trying to have a legitimate football conversation. Is it too late to say PLEASE go back to the big 12

Trashy commentary?

Sounded pretty good natured to me...

Maybe I just like double teams...

The near loss to Vandy and the blowout in the swamp should have lit a damn fire under them.

Hugh Freeze's incredibly ridiculous non-functional playcalling is costing us games. Our offensive line depth and their overall ineptitude is also a big reason.

See I had no idea there was this much going on with Ole Miss on the inside. It's pretty interesting to hear from an Ole Miss fan.

LMAO...this is the part that always makes me laugh.

Explain this one to me please. Are you fricking black bears that damn unfamiliar with what is REALLY good football?

Do you think beating a highschool team by 70 means you are good?

Do you think surviving a game barely in which you were gifted FIVE turnovers and a fluke touchdown means you are good?

What's really more telling is that you struggled mightily with Vandy, and got completely obliterated by Florida, and then you were still complacent going against Memphis? LMAO. Were you complacent against Florida? LMAO.......You haven't won a conference championship in over 50 years....and you are complacent.? Someone isn't doing their job then. The reality is your OL is junk, you can't run the ball, and you have a hard time stopping the run, and your qb is a gunslinger. End of Story.

Excuse me - but what the hell has OleMiss accomplished that would cause complacency?

Complacency comes from having accomplised goals consistantly resulting in a sense of satisfaction.

As an outsider to your program, I can't see what goals or major accomplishments the Rebels have attained that would cause your players to become complacent.

Nailed it.

They even have admitted to not being focused and practicing without much effort. We are 11th in the country on 1st down defense. 12th on second down, and 116th on third. You would think then our pass defense sucks, but teams are throwing on us more on 1st and 2nd than third. The middle of our defense has always been untalented since Freeze has been here, but they were sound assignment wise. Thats the main issue. We cannot cover the slot receiver/ TE

Thats why I think its bullshite. If that didnt wake you up, why does losing to Memphis light the fire? They been saying it tho, "we got our swag back". We'll see, but Im skeptical. If anything, they get a boost having CJ and Laremy on the field, and I do think that is legitimate. Kind of a mid season B12 shot.

It happens to every program with high expectations that begins to lose games (see Kiffin rumors after the Ole Miss loss).
