I think we just expect it now. It's only been happening to us for every single game over the past 30 years, regardless of the opponent.

It isn’t a team problem. It’s a ref problem.

There is an officiating epidemic that is hurting everybody in the SEC.

Everybody thinks that the refs have it out for their team. The truth is that no one remembers when their team benefits from the missed call, only when their team gets the short end of the stick.

I think refs are just poorly trained these days. With review, they focus less on doing their job right and rely on the camera. Problem is that attitude leads to missing calls or making poor calls that aren’t reviewable

Also the rules in football are so much stricter that it makes the job more difficult and the NCAA is pushing refs to err on the side of caution for player safety rather than letting them play.

The game needs to be simplified and players allowed to play more. It’s getting where offenses use penalties as strategy to gain yards such as throwing up balls deep and hoping for PI. You shouldn’t be rewarded for throwing in double coverage just because there was some minimal contact by the defender. It’s bullshite

We all have a history of bad calls, it’s part of the game. The problem is that the better team usually equalizes that out to a certain extent, and a bad call is more devastating for the team that needs a big win.

There’s a reason why people say Alabama always gets calls, never gets called for holding, and Gary Danielson sucks off the tide every week. Same reason Ole Miss fans say WAOM every time we lose. The better team usually prevails in the end.

This “welcome to the losers club” mentality is tiresome.

Coming from a blue blood.

guess who has the fewest penalty yards per game this year in the SEC? UGA!!!

Poor Tenn is second most in the SEC with OM. We will both add on another 20 or so when we play UGA

Have you watched any other conferences? PAC-12 officials are horrendous.

We could just have the refs rig games like the NFL

Seems like everybody thinks the refs are always against them?

Either way - it was hilarious to watch the aggies on this site bitch and moan about the Texas game while they were off. As if they had somehow suffered a loss during their bye week
