Ole Miss fans, be honest, do you think Chambliss should go pro?

He has looked great (although some dropped picks last night helped) on the biggest college stage he'll ever be on, it's a relatively weak year for QBs in the draft (Dante Moore is a wildcard, but still even with him).
If the guy wants to be a professional QB, I feel like he's at his apex in draft value right now.
Regardless, he is fun as hell to watch and seems like a good dude. I wish him the best whichever path he takes.

Yes he should. He’s the top 2 qbs in the draft.also NCAA won’t grant him his waiver so it doesn’t matter

If he gets a good draft grade he 100% should. If he doesn't, he should return and try to improve his draft stock. Like any other player

He's too short to be a high draft pick imo. He should stay as long as he can.

Probably not at least financially.
He'll get at least 2mm I'd think to stay in college?
Wouldn't expect him to be drafted in the first 3 rounds.

He could get prob $1-1.5m a year in 3rd round and a four year contract. Plus if he sticks in the league long enough gets the pension.
I just don’t think there is anything he can do to improve his draft stock more.

I think he has great options no matter what. Incredible for him to earn that. Win/win for him.

He’ll make more money at Ole Miss next year. Up to him, I guess.

In one year. His contract value as a third rounder would be probably higher. And I think 3rd round is his floor in the draft after the playoff performances. If he comes back and doesn't mesh well in new offense or gets hurt, he could fall to a 5th/6th round type grade, or worse.

Looking at some QB boards - most sites have him anywhere from #9 to #12 ranked QB.
Based off last year, that's a 6th round grade. If that is accurate, he 100% should return (if eligible).

Yes, but just so we don't ever have to play him again.

Selfishly want (and need) him to stay but if he grades high you have to take your chance I guess.
If he gets a waiver he can put another year of film to move into the 1st round and make a killing at ole miss next year is how I’d sell it to him if I’m John David Baker and Joe Judge.

Guessing he will get a 4th+ draft grade. His arm has a firm ceiling on it and his size doesn't help.

I’m not sure his height or arm strength are where NFL scouts want it to be, but I’m also not involved in those conversations at all. I agree that he’s likely maximized his draft grade with his play this year, but I’m not sure it’s enough to leave. But that’s a decision for him (and whether he gets the waiver to even be eligible for next year).
