I would like to congratulate Ole Miss on beating an Alabama team that struggled in 3 of their 4 true road games last year. LSU going brain dead at the end of the game is the only thing that prevented them from beating bama last year. A missed extra point is the only thing that prevented the Arkansas game from going to overtime. You are still going to lose this Saturday

The OP was responding to all the predictions of our impending loss due to not having a good rushing attack; the point was that we beat Bama last year without one. A bit of reading comprehension can be a handy thing.

Both are elite, and it's sorta pointless to try and say which one is "better" than the other. I do think our D matches up better against Bama's O, than the Bama D against our O.

There's not a single player on the Ole Miss D that is better than the person playing the same position for Bama. There may be a toss up or two in the back field but that's it. All together, Bama has more talent on D than does Ole Miss by a lot.
