I'm assuming he just means this year? Certainly long term, LSU and A&M are set up to be the biggest threat just due to their resources and recruiting. If we get Dart, our schedule sets up nicely and we have Bama at home so maybe we'd have a shot. I do think Arkansas finished 2nd in the West next year but let's be honest, if Will Anderson and Bryce Young are healthy, there is no threat to Alabama other than UGA next year.

I believe that he has totally forgotten to include the “sleeping giant”. You know the one, the one who’s been a threat to BAMA in the west since 2012, the one who’s always been on the cusp of greatness every year but had to say “next year” at the end of the season.
