It would be interesting to remove the Alabama game where Ole Miss only scored 10 and see how much that one game impacts the road stats. And to remove the LSU game where they scored 55 points and see how much that impacts the home stats.
Tulane and Alabama were bad games. Our best wr was either out or banged up same for our tightend. Without those two we are significantly weakened. Auburn game I believe Dart was banged up and we were missing a 500 yard receiver.
Be interesting to see what happens fully healthy

Surely everyone knows this is a second bye week for UGA, no? Practice? For Ole Miss???? What would be the point???
You're right. Georgia just needs to go ahead and start watching film on Tennessee.
In reality, this game doesn't even matter for Georgia. They lose, beat UT and go to Atlanta and beat Bama and they're back in the playoffs.

Brooks Austin video explains it well

Truth is, it doesn't really matter for us either. We win this game, we still won't go to Atlanta and we still won't go to the playoffs.
Lose this game and we still go 10-2 and make a NY6 bowl.
It will be a fun game to watch and hopefully the lack of pressure makes us play loose and makes GA play like they don't GAS

Ladd McConkey has the best name in college football besides Kool Aid McKinstry, and that’s worth 14 points alone.
Can't argue with that.

My observation from afar is that when Ole Miss can get 3-4 yards consistently with their base run play their offense is extremely difficult to stop, because it opens everything else up (as most of their stuff is an off-shoot of the base play).
When they are getting 1-3 yards on it and get behind the sticks the offense becomes more stagnant, and Dart isn't nearly as good as a stationary drop back thrower.
Not sure it has to do with home/away as much as it does that.

For Ole Miss while you're right the path is still narrow to playoffs for sure, it would be more about making a statement as a program that we can beat an elite, top 5 type team, something we haven't done in 8 seasons, whereas UGA it would just be one more notch in the pistol and not really move the needle for them any.

A win against GA would likely boost recruiting as well.

Those splits are about right, but the home stats are padded by beating up on Mercer to the tune of 73 points and the road stats are drug down by the Bama game where we were missing some key offensive weapons (notably Tre Harris).
Outside of those games, the home/road splits look pretty even averaging around 33pts on the road and 40 pts at home. Yardage is about 350 per game.

Presnap penalties affect down and distance and staying on schedule.
Ole Miss also relies heavily on presnap motion and option routes. Lack of communication can impair execution.

See how we’ve played at Bama versus playing Bama at home.

Lol, you ain’t wrong. But I think that will be reversed on Saturday. Ole Miss going to get a sack of hammers dropped on them.

Is it because OM staff listens in on the headset conversations from the opposition? Hmmmm?

It's true.
But it didn't work against LSU because of a lack of coherent English mixed with Kelly talking about how much he's looking forward to grinding on high school kids again.

Are we only listening when we are on offense? We have looked totally lost at times on defense.
Nice try though

We play Bama close at home and shite the bed on the road. Crowd noise disrupts our offense. And we just don’t seem as comfortable on the road.
