No, dude. Charlie Strong left years ago.

travel times

Norman and Baton Rouge are the same distance from College Station. But I agree a bit, the travel is going to suck.. mostly for us, tbh.

I know shite talk is the norm here and I love that, but guys.. I'm fricking pumped for SEC road games. Can't wait. Football is religion in this state, and it's become very hard to get excited for road trips to Manhattan or Lawrence KS, Lubbock, Waco, Stillwater, etc.

I think you'll enjoy visits to Norman. Culturally, this will be a great fit.

Oklahoma actually has four mountain ranges

Guess OP thought Ouachita and Ozark mountains just magicically and immediately turn to flat ground at the state borders.

For starters, every current SEC state has some form of tourism opportunity (mountains, beaches, culture and history).

WTF does Oklahoma bring to the table? The Trail of Tears?

Says Oklahoma has no culture or history. Mentions Trail of Tears (Native Americans) in the same breath.

Flyover country thankfully doesn’t get much visitors, but don’t act like SEC country is worth a shite touristically compared to other areas of the country

Knoxville are tourist destinations.

Gateway to the smokies the most visited nation park in the US. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the casinos of Cherokee are all established tourist centers.

But it’s not a tourist conference. It the South Eastern Conference.

Arky, Mizzou, TAMU, Texas, and Oklahoma should be the core of a south western conference. Add Arizona, Arizona St, Okie St, Baylor, Houston, TCU, SMU, Arky St, North Texas and build an SEC competitor.

The SEC should take Virginia, Western Kentucky, East Carolina, North Carolina, Coastal Carolina to make it fair for other conferences.

I was born and raised in Tennessee about five miles from where the Trail of Tears began. Now, I live on the Oklahoma border near where it ended. Tennessee is beautiful; so is Oklahoma. You really should visit sometime.

Ahh, that’s cute. You two should get a room.

The sips have been OU’s bitch for so long, they just assume it’s that way for everyone. It’s adorable. I guess they don’t watch CFP games.
