I’ve been to Oklahoma. All I remember was ugly flat land, dust and non stop tornado warnings for 3 straight days.

Guadalupe Peak is the highest point in Texas with an elevation of 8751 ft. Which I think makes it the highest point in the SEC. Could be wrong about the latter.

i’ll tell what Oklahoma brings to the table. Fact is Oklahoma sucks, and without them Texas would fall off into the gulf.

Well there’s that but they will also bring a world of arse whippings to the SEC. Aggy can run but they can’t run fast enough. You don’t have time to worry about tourism when your getting tagged 77-0. So yes that Trail of Tears will exist.

poor aggies

Well, since 1992 the mighty Longhorns are 2-5 against Arkansas with one being a 22-20 squeaker in 2004.

Every time Okie has met an SEC team in the CFP they went home with their tails tucked.

What Longhorn and Sooner don't realize is there will be more 7-8 win seasons in the SEC than 10-11 wins seasons, like Oklahoma at least, in the Big XII.

Of course Texas has seen only one 10 win season in the last 10, and in fact the 10 year average is 7 wins per year.

Since 2000, Texas is 6-6 vs. the SEC. That's about what UT can expect going forward.

They are barely competence in a pitiful conference. Just wait until they start playing an SEC schedule.

Right because the top two teams have such an overwhelming win loss record be Oklahoma …. You won by a blocked field goal in double overtime abs if Riley wasn’t a pussy and went for it numerous times through the game you might of never beaten OU. Bama has a losing record vs OU….. most of you on this OU can’t compete theme really are about as dumb as a rock….

Just what everyone to go on record with how they think OU will fare the first few years of the sec …. I will tel you for sure OU will be on the top 3 on average and win the sec within the first three years ….

I will start a post just before the season and bookmark everyone’s thoughts .

Since 2000 OU is 8-6 vs SEC and most of losses were in playoffs or title games. I’m not taking that away

I will say since OU had mostly offense oriented teams this favored SEC playoff/title teams as we all know its easier to slow down offenses when you have a month to prepare. But when we go head to head weekly in conference games that 1 month advantage will go away. Additionally BV is revamping defense so by time we get there it will be stout. I look forward to the challenges and games. We won’t win as much as Big12 but we’ll win enough and the game atmospheres will be awesome and worth it. Brent is building a monster.

Several things:

Oklahoma has the most level III ecoregions in the lower 48 besides California (tied with Texas for second) so we can put the "flat and boring" to rest other than to say that unfortunately, the few"flat and boring" level III ecosystems ae the biggest ones. LOL.

Three of the five tribes in Oklahoma were split during the war (Chickasaw and Choctaw were confederate) but at one time all five of them signed treaties with the confederacy.

The "TV market" issue isn't one. Oklahoma is one of the most watched teams in the country... with about 80% of the TV audience rooting for OU to lose.

The eastern part of the state which is the part that is southern and fits in seamlessly with the SEC. Already a lot of Pig fans in eastern Oklahoma.

And finally, Kudzu made it to Oklahoma about 50 years ago and has been spreading across the state sense. That alone ought to qualify Oklahoma for membership.

Not crying about anything just stating the facts UGA is on par with Oklahoma that year and most years ….. actually in reality in most years Oklahoma is better than UGA…. Facts

Oklahoma has some decent natural areas.

In that post I'm replying to, that waterfall is about 8 miles from the Arkansas state line, just west of Siloam Springs. It's 30 minutes from Fayetteville.

Winding Stair Mountain is maybe 20 miles from the Arkansas state line. The Talimena Scenic drive runs between Talihina , OK and Mena, Arkansas. The higher peaks you see in the distance are actually in the state of Arkansas.

Casinos

What state (besides Texas) doesn't have casinos now?

I refer to the ones in Oklahoma as casinas. Because that's how people who frequent Oklahoma Indian casinas pronounce it.

I’ve also seen the natural beauty of Tulsa on “The First 48.” A magical place if you’re a mudshark on meth.

Spoken like a true Trump supporter who has to bring up politics in every thread.

See. I can make those assumptions as well. Except I don’t revolve my life around politics like your type.
