what does Mississippi have

the Mississippi Delta region is the birthplace of blues music, which begat rock music, so Mississippi is a hell of a lot more significant than Arkansas.

All 5 of the civilized tribes allied with the confederacy. We even had a Cherokee general (Stand Watie).

While this is true, three of the five tribes were split. The Indian territory had more civilian deaths per capita in the Civil War than any US or confederate state due to the infighting.

That should qualify us for the SEC. All that shed Indian blood for the cause.

Austin is overcrowded, with terrible traffic, and hobos living on the sidewalks. It is far from paradise .. but better than Oklahoma

Good thing not every one likes the same things. You could not pay me to live in Oklahoma, or Austin. It some like it

Lol just say you can't afford it, bud. Nobody is buying into your fan fiction to make yourself feel better about only being able to get into Texas a&m and having to enjoy 4 years of Dixie Chicken

The Juke Joint Festival in Clarksdale starts this Thursday (and be sure to grab some hot tamales at Hicks)

Churchill Downs and Keeneland host the Breeders cup which brings in International crowds. Not to mention that little or horse race in May. Spring sales at Keeneland have sheiks, Japanese and rich Europeans there.

Brits and Europeans love to vacation in Florida.

I've hiked in the Smokies and run into plenty of people from other countries. Ever heard of Elvis? Memphis? Nashville?

New Orleans? Are you kidding?

On the other hand Mount Sunflower looks like a solid waste transfer station.

I stand corrected. I should have remembered that.
