You guys thought you had it tough in the big 8/12 beating two good teams a year to make it to the big game every year. Going to have to earn it in the SEC . You can probably add a longer drought now that you have joined the toughest conference in America.

Summer of Jimbo The National Championship going into the 2003 season by the NCAA was set up by the BCS Championship game not the AP.
The AP realized late in the 2003 season they had lost all pull in the Championship game and rebelled against the system in place.
This was only due to politics, the BCS system is the only one that worked, we went back to a voter system controlled by a very few people again and then went to a far worse system meant to empower a few with the system we had the last few years.
Last year's playoffs with the old BCS system would have had better teams in the playoffs.

The most interest stat is that OU never has beaten an SEC team in a national title football game.
