Viewership traditionally drops as you get later into the season as teams get eliminated from CFP contention. This is nothing new

I heard it was DeMarco Murray who called him out.

I heard he was involved too, and that he went off on LR

A&M and not really close. Today’s college football is all about the money. The allure of playing fit a traditional power is largely gone. Don’t think high school or college age players are going to give OU a discount just to wear an OU jersey.

It’s all about money. The more you have, the bigger the advantage. Just how it is.

Um yes, OU just received a commitment form a 5* offensive lineman that said he took a pay cut NIL wise because he wanted to come play for OU

Didn't he cry in front of the Oklahoma players when he announced he was leaving for USC?

Didn’t they just change the rules to allow him HOF eligibility this year or something?

Yes, Manfred made a rule that permanent bans expire after the death of the person with a permanent ban

Rose didnt have a permanent ban, he had a lifetime ban and Manfred said the lifetime ban ends upon the death of the banned, which makes total sense.

There are some Sooners fans that are going to face a harsh reality in the next 7 weeks. Again I just do not understand why Sooners fans give the idiot a break. He CANNOT coach!

the last minute of the first half was proof of that

34-3 lol

In the last 5 years, the only way Texas was able to beat OU was when OU had multiple injuries to their starters and 3 of the last 4 years (assuming Hawkins starts) OU will go into the RRS without their starting QB

Whenever Texas faced a full strength OU, they lost

Cuz damn sure no one in the SEC is a challenge

Nope, the worst NFL team would be favored by 40+ points vs the best CFB team

OU already has an automatic W with Mizzou every year so Arkansas would have been two patsies At least Ole Miss will win 3-4 out of every 10

OU lost to Mizzou last year…

True, but throughout history, Misery has been a pretty easy win for OU at
67–25–5 (69% win)

After this play the rule was installed that you couldn't do it. The game day officials were ignorant of the rule.

Why is it illegal? As long as there are only 11 men on the field, the defense should have to account for all 11.

Exactly, because they didnt have to sub to put Satenga in, the 9-yard rule thing didnt apply to him. If the AU defense wasnt so concerned with trash talking the OU offense, they would have seen him.

AND if you watch the replay, no AU coach was trying to call time out until after the ball was snapped.
I am not sold on the 2004 USC team being the best we've ever lost to. We stop them then drive the ball right down the field for a score, held them to 3 and out, then once Bradley muffed the punt, the wheels came off.

Clear evidence to overturn requires multiple viewings for 10 minutes?

Perhaps you're confused by what "clear" means.

It didnt take 10 minutes, when a call is overturned, there is a lot that goes into it, having to validate the previous spot and what time should be put back on the clock.

He checked with the ref if he didn’t get it we would have called a timeout ….

Well, that’s rich, because the AU coaching staff was trying to call a timeout but the moron officials didn’t hear them. It’s really indefensible what happened.

Somehow Bama, UGA, and LSU fans can admit it, but you all cannot.

Watch a replay of the game, no one on the AU sideline was trying to call a time out.

14 point swing on blatantly bad calls. Seventeen if you count the three points you got after they called back the scoop and score. You guys didn't win the game. It was given to you. Keep believing otherwise Sooner.

Oh, and classy cheers by your fans. Nothing better than telling a 20 year old kid to go F himself.

On the missed PI call, you scored a TD like 3-4 plays later so you werent robbed.
No one cares about the weather in Columbia. In the 2008 B12 CCG at Arowhead, the temp was 32 at kick off and kept dropping with a nice little wind chill.

Oklahoma proceeded to drop 61 points on Mizzou

If i were auburn i would not complain about the Sategna catch, the auburn defense was just asleep, end of story…..

If i were Auburn i would complain about the non call on PI, As i remember Auburn ran a trick play, meant to deceive us (oh the shame of it all) and because of the trick play the back judge had to scramble to get behind the play and because of the deception he was not looking right at the catch….

Kind of ironic dont you think……

Not to mention that the missed PI didnt cost them 7. They scored a TD like 3 or 4 plays later.

Two drop pick 6.

This keeps being repeated as if it's true, it isn't. If intercepted, neither was close to being a pick six.

Umm i hate to tell you, had Peyton Bowen actually caught that dropped INT, there was no one between him and the endzone. No one.

The missed INT on the swing pass, there also was no one between the defender and the end zone.

Also OU ask the refs about the play before game

This seemed like a solid defense to you? Why are they asking about a play they know to be illegal?

It's very common for coaches to discuss trick plays with officials before the game.

but the Refs cost them the game.

OU has a great defense. Auburn still put themselves in position to win the game. Two missed calls literally cost Auburn 14 points. Last year in Norman the refs gave them 7 points against Bama....but it wasnt a big deal because OU won by a big margin. This game was entirely different

I cant believe im having to defend Auburn...

On the missed PI call, they scored a TD a few plays plays later. so that missed PI didnt cost them 7 points.

Please explain how this is illegal deception.

The illegal deception is not that he then got back to the line, it’s how he got over there. Acting like he’s walking off the field and then right at the sideline he walks back up to the line….tough to argue when the head of the SEC put out a statement that the officials were wrong.

Let it go, you won the game on some BS shite….get over it. Still a W in the record book

Maybe the Auburn DB's shouldn't have been so concerned with trash talk that they completely lost sight of the WR.

Also if you watch HF never tried to call a TO. that was complete BS on his part
