Not sure what Sorsby did is criminal

I’m sure they could work up a wire fraud case on him.

From what I understand, he also placed bets while at Tech. Gambling in Texas is illegal, and if he used a proxy, that to is illegal

This Brendan Sorsby kid has screwed himself for life.

Hate to break it to you but the NFL doesnt care about criminal activities.

A couple NFL head coaches have hinted that he'll never play in the NFL. Though I tend to agree with you that someone will take a chance on him.

College football fans only care because Texas Tech is a threat with him. If it was a no name player then no one would care.

If it was a no name player, he would have lost the injunction (or never even sued) and this would never have even been an issue.

At the end of the day, this is a direct risk to the public's trust in the on-the-field product. And once the public can no longer trust the product, it's over. There's a reason why this is 100% against the rules in every single sports league in the country (and I'd venture to guess the world).

Exactly, now across the sport every bad interception, missed tackle, dropped catch, etc, will be a question
Oklahoma is Jim Thorpe. Arguably one of the best if not the best athlete in history
You went to TP in OKC. Here the hot women that work in restaurants are smart enough to go work at better places.
How long ago was it? there are bars on campus corner and just a bit north on main street
I personally think this is just a big waste of money. They cant fill up LNC with people or students and now that it's across town from the university, they def wont get students to go.

ETA: I also want to see the plans for parking, nothing like building a massive entertainment complex but not have anywhere near enough parking.

Look it's not about Pavia. It was that Kangaroo Court Crap that you guys pulled. After that the NCAA said enough is enough.
When they gave a kid his 9th year of eligibility just before saying no to Chambliss, at that point they deserved to have a court overrule them. They’re not a victim

Coming to say this. HE gets a 9th year why Owen Heinecke gets denied because he played all of 15 total minutes of Lacrosse at Ohio State .

They need bigger fields. Playing on a little league field doesn’t cut it when they got 200 pounders all over the place.

This, never understood why fastpitch fields are so incredibly tiny

No wonder so many jacks can get hit when your foul poles are like 200 feet and dead center is 220. Those are shallow pop flys to the center outfield in baseball. It's 127 feet from home plate to 2B in baseball.

And yes I realize everything needs to be much shorter in softball, but its clearly way too easy to hit home runs nowadays with how we've bred some of these players. Move the fences out 15-20 feet. Probably easier to just dumb down the bats like college baseball has done a few times.

It's called physics.

He filed to have 1 year granted and backdate a medical redshirt.. not to have permission to play 15 years.

No one is going to be able to play college football for 15 years because Trinidad was granted an injunction on a disputed medical redshirt.

Ask the player at Montana that just got his 9th year granted

Exactly, and at Oklahoma, Owen Heinecke was denied an extra year because he played three lacross games as Ohio State
Biggest thing i heard him say was about all the missed RTP and late hits on Mendoza in the first half that went uncalled.

It's amazing how pedestrian he has been since Texas got to him.

Very strange how it also corresponds perfectly to him breaking his throwing hand, right?

You beat me to it
Viewership traditionally drops as you get later into the season as teams get eliminated from CFP contention. This is nothing new

I heard it was DeMarco Murray who called him out.

I heard he was involved too, and that he went off on LR

A&M and not really close. Today’s college football is all about the money. The allure of playing fit a traditional power is largely gone. Don’t think high school or college age players are going to give OU a discount just to wear an OU jersey.

It’s all about money. The more you have, the bigger the advantage. Just how it is.

Um yes, OU just received a commitment form a 5* offensive lineman that said he took a pay cut NIL wise because he wanted to come play for OU

Didn't he cry in front of the Oklahoma players when he announced he was leaving for USC?

Didn’t they just change the rules to allow him HOF eligibility this year or something?

Yes, Manfred made a rule that permanent bans expire after the death of the person with a permanent ban

Rose didnt have a permanent ban, he had a lifetime ban and Manfred said the lifetime ban ends upon the death of the banned, which makes total sense.
