OU wins 24-13 or something like that. We are terrible in conference road games under Beamer save for Vandy and Kentucky.

OU has way too much talent on offense to not have a breakout game. I think this week could be it coming off an embarrassing loss to a rival and playing at home.

They have the 7th most talented roster according to 24/7 and guys are getting healthy. Every game Hawkins is getting experience.

Is it this week? I think they beat USCe 27-17. They will beat one of Mizzou, Ole Miss or Bama at home at night.

Anemic? You give our offense that much credit? You have a more positive outlook on us than I do!

OU’s gameplan vs Texas was like that of an overmatched FCS team on the road in early September. They didn’t gameplan to win, they planned to not get blown out. They’re not in the frame of mind to win football games from the HC right down to their fan base. It won’t take much for the SCar to take their will.

I don’t know the line but it’s hard to see OU doing much at all offensively . I know the defense will play much better because Venables wasn’t very happy about the effort and missed tackles vs Texas
….

One thing that cracked me up was that after OU couldn't tackle Auburn... Our "defensive guru" radio color man, Teddy Lehman said the defense was "tired"... and would do better after a bye week...

And of course they all bounced off of Tre Wisner all game long... because they got "tired"...

With only a week off this time I'm sure Rocket Sanders will run through them cuz "tired"...

us OU fans have been thinking this for a while but until we get some of our better receivers back and if we do it will probably be one or 2 and our OC gets fired ….. those two things are holding us back . We can deal with an average to poor OL but when you couple that with everything else …. It’s bad right now

I'm gonna take a Brent Venables Defense at home vs a bad Offense over a Shane Beamer defense vs a bad Offense on the road. That simple.

I see it as OU by 4. Score is 24 to 20.

They bounce back

Interesting fact about Saturday's game: SC and Ok have never met in football.

so I read that as Carolina is undefeated against Oklahoma - we'll take what we can get at this point -

Beamer will be coaching his 45th game at Carolina - Venables his 33rd at OU -

Oklahoma is 2-0 at home in October under BV - both 11am kicks - the Dallas game along with byes and true road games has only allowed for 2 games in October in Norman the past 2 seasons -

2022 - OU 52 #19 Kansas 42
2023 - #6 OU 31 Central Florida Gus Bus 29

kickoff for USC & OU is still before noon Norman time - 11:45am - advantage Sooners -

Gamecocks were slow to start at 11am at UAT last Satuday trailing 14-0 before scoring the next 19 points of that game -

both offenses are bad converting 3rd downs and both OLs give up more sacks than anyone else in the SEC - OU is 127th (20) and USC the worst in FBS at 134th (26) -

the thing that jumps out is Oklahoma has gained 14 turnovers (#1 SEC) this season while Carolina has turned it over 12 times (15th SEC) - only Auburn has more at 15 -
