Yeah. I guess I am just lucky that I never have been bothered that OTHER fans love THEIR team and are happy.
It does not bother me that Bama fans are happy with Bama. I am glad that Arky fans think their team is terrific, etc.
YOU being happy does not take any happiness away from ME. That is not a zero-sum game. Now, obviously, I want Bama fans to be disappointed on the night of Jan 09. But, that is a head-to-head game situation...not a general attitudinal issue.

One major flaw is that you are comparing these as apples to apples when you've included Bama's 2009 NCG opponent, Texas, in your comparison.
Say LSU beats yall, then the side-by-side comparison looks more like:
11-2 Bama #2
11-2 Bama #2
11-2 Oregon # 5
10-2 Arky #6
10-3 Georgia #16
7-5 Auburn #25
9-3 West Virginia #23
And it's subject to change even more in LSU's favor if their ranked opponents win their bowl games, improving their post-bowl rank and winning %.
It's just a flawed comparison at this point.

Your entire argument is based on the fact that we will not get to play a new team in the bowl. So because you got a rematch we are worse than 2009 Bama if we win?
If Bama belongs in the championship game, then
2011 Alabama x 2 has to be considered equivalent to 2009 Florida + Texas assuming LSU wins
2011 Oregon > 2009 Va Tech
2011 Arkansas >> 2009 LSU
2011 Georgia >> 2009 Ole Miss
2011 West Virigina >> the best of your other teams
2011 Auburn > the second best of your other teams

So what is your argument? That the worst teams you played all year are slightly better than the worst teams we played? Congratulations on that.
So what have we shown here? If I take out just one biased argument from your post that is constructed carefully with maximum bias to "prove" a point you wish to make, the entire argument is already in favor of LSU.
If I want to do more, I certainly can. If you want I can strip away more layers to remove more doubt.

2009 Bama won by an average score of 32-12.
2011 LSU's current pace is 38-10.
Whether or not this is "the greatest team of all time" is open for debate.
One thing isn't, though: We'll still finish with more wins this season, either way.

LSU 78% well let see after the bowl gamss since you chose to caculate Bama's season after the bowls. If all the teams win there bowls except Alabama LSU would finish with a 80.49% which is a lot closer to 81% than what you claim Bama has.
