Gee, that's a nice recruiting/exposure advantage.

Nobody gives a shite about national networks. It's 2024, not 1960 when you had 3 channels and no alternatives. Everything isn't national, it's global. If you want to watch the shite, you'll watch it. If you don't, you won't.

Throw it on YouTube or social media if you want the most exposure. Its where I'm going to watch the shite anyway to be honest.

MSM is dying.

First off - not SEC related
Second - Fox needed something to go against the Masters. Dega isn't until next week so no NASCAR. I haven't seen the ratings for the UFL but I'd imagine it is lower than average Ohio State game.

These days you are just as likely not to have ABC, NBC, CBS, or FOX as you are not to have ESPN.

In my area NBC was unavailable for months last year due to a contract dispute between my provider and NBC (or whoever owns the rights in this area). No Sunday Night Football pretty much the entire season.

The difference between access to a network and ESPN is negligible in 2024. There are like 114 people left accessing the networks with an antenna.

Antennas get you like 50 free crystal clear 1080p HD channels in major metro areas. Sounds like you're missing out

You realize an antenna is like $5 and fits right behind your TV? I don’t use one but i would sure as hell get one if i got cut off from YTTV.

I know it is easier to find pirate streams, but rabbitears.info shows there's a lot of OTA stuff still out there.

Atlanta area has plenty.

Don't shoot the messenger.
Having your Spring Game on a National Network like Fox, vs a cable sports network is a big deal and will draw far more eyeballs than it would if it were on a cable tv sports network.
ESPN broadcasts frigging High School Games.
Being on ESPN isn't a big deal.

This game will be an embarrassment for tOSU because of the silly point system that they will be using.

Yep, a nationally televised sporting event where all of the betting apps won't be able to formulate accurate odds.

I'm miserable that we left CBS to pair only with ABC ESPN.

Every sports production on CBS just seems big-time. CBS makes the moment bigger than it really is.

The SEC will regret this move unless ABC ESPN start pumping more $$ int heir production quality.

The Big Ten is turning into the NFL, they've gone coast to coast after adding PAC12 teams, and FOX is making them a priority versus Woke Disney ABC/ESPN treating the SEC like the Red Headed Step Child.

National vs Cable doesn't matter. ESPN's the way to go.
