Dan Patrick didn't report they weren't practicing though. He simply said there are 20 Ohio State players who have tested positive for Covid. So is all of it inaccurate? Some of it? It's clear they are having Covid problems up there, otherwise this wouldn't be being talked about.

How they gonna get well in a week? I think they want the delay so Sark won’t be there.

Sorry, Buckeyes. You’ve used up all your COVID excuses to get this far.

Time to pay the piper.

Has OSU played 2 games in back-to-back weeks this year?

So are the Cleveland Browns and they've been shut down all week with a playoff game staring at them this weekend. If you can't go you can't go.

If they had 20 players test positive then they would have shut the facility down.

Unless they're just saying 'screw it' and are practicing anyway considering what is at stake.

The mathematical odds of this year being played out were astronomical, to say the least. The games got played in the SEC. The B1G screwed it up by the numbers and left zero wiggle room and got a free pass anyway. You have nothing to complain about.

I figured the whole football program would have antibodies by now.

Posted this in another thread, but we've been pondering Ohio State's advantages from playing so few games.

I wonder if there is some flip-side correlation with not being exposed to other teams as much, related to their sudden COVID numbers (rather than being spread out throughout the season)?

This'll be their 8th game, but Bama's 13th. They can no longer use excuses

Didn't save your head coach. Must have seen plenty.

That is how bad they wanted him gone. This year will compare to 1941-43 with a asterisk next to it. Conferences playing 6 games, teams having to back out of their Conference Championships, teams self reporting Covid positive cases and doing their own contact tracing. The NCAA only allowed the season to happen because of the money, then they lost control of how it would be played.

Man Ryan Day evidently doesn’t know how to run a safe program up there.

Postpone it then.

I want every player they got available to cement the best team ever's legacy when Bama brings this home. Best program ever, best team ever, best two college coaches ever.

They got a name for the winners in the world.....

The Big Ten has been such a blessing for college football this season.

Screw ‘em. Play the game.
