Listen if you can’t watch football and objectively understand who’s playing at another level don’t blame me because you tried out for marching band.

Clemson will not ???????? LSU to under 40 points.
How would anyone know what Clemson can do they have not played a ranked team. And probably should have lost to UNC.
So talk is cheap.
LSU has played and defeated 4 ranked teams. Two of those have defenses at least as good as Clemson appears to have. Again you would not know because they have played no one.
Ohio,State beats Clemson
LSU beats Clemson
Oklahoma probably beats Clemson
Georgia probably beats Clemson

Why can't fans just be happy when their team is in position to go prove it.
Clemson likely gets the chance, OSU and LSU still have challenges in front of them to get there. UGA can get there. A few other teams (Utah/OU/Oregon) have a good shot. That's basically it. I'm not buying Bama is totally dead but on life support. PSU controls its own destiny as well

As an ohio state fan, I really respect both what LSU has done and what Clemson is capable of doing.
I’d say all of those potential matchups are pretty compelling.
No one is going to come coasting in on their laurels like Alabama did last year. Everyone seems pretty hungry and motivated for their own reasons.
I think these teams are all reasonably even.

Well, the defense did shut them down in the 1st half and with it being 31-7 at half, I think they went on cruise control. But they certainly would torch the 2nd half D.
