I truly think its worse than that... I think (as in I could be wrong but don't want to find out...) if LSU gets expelled from the SEC the LA AG will have a lawsuit filed in Federal Court before the day is done. And that gal will not only win it but bankrupt the SEC in the process.
If this is not deescalated we may end up with federal government run college sports.

I have been wondering this. The guy is your typical bureaucrat who has ridden the coat-tails of people coming before him. There's no way he's coming up with all this on his own. He's got some really dumb people who he thinks are REALLY smart giving him really poor advice.

the SEC would be wise to leave La. politicians out of this. this could most assuredly be the mistake that causes sankey to lose his job. he's really not a very smart man. i submit his TV contract negotiations as his "performance" in a La. court last week. the SEC has enough cause to can him right now.
