As always A&M's admission rate and 10% #s are skewed due to the stupid Texas law the forces A&M to accept everyone in the top 10%. Which I guess can mess with test scores as well. I mean why would I give a shite what my SAT or ACT score if I get auto accepted by being top 10%?

Pretty much. Most people I know did not even take the ACT

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it in-state. It's all contingent on what the College Board tells us we can do.

In short, ACTs scare us more than Bama.

Alabama is the Ole Miss of academic recruiting

Lots of 5-star, elite talent and then filling in the gaps with local in-state 3-stars.

they dont keep track of these stats, but would be interesting to see second year student stats. accounting for drop outs and students transfering in
