only observation Relf is really bad. Entertaining game though I hope the smack was at a minimum

Willie Robinson is thinking he may just be able save his job this year.

I wonder if HBT still wants Mullen

Hold on, now, are we comparing him to Miles? Because if it's a dichotomous choice...

Great game to start the road to Atlanta.... Nice win Tigers!

Tough road win. Lots of work to do if we're to compete deep in the schedule.

if we can hold Miss ST to 14, we should hold LSU to 3.

If Auburn didn't have Newton I can't even imagine how bad their offense would be. Losing Tate killed their running game.

Tate was a great RB, Fannin runs to high for an RB. I expected Dyer to be named the starting RB, and after Fannin was injured it looks like he is. Dyer is a pure RB Fannin is more of a hybrid back, tons of talent but just runs too high in the pads for a true RB.

We were far more vanilla on offense than I expected, still didn't show much. Our execution was off at times but considering we lost our starting RB and LT I thought the offense did ok, we were able to move the ball just struggled inside the redzone.

Indeed. Whoever said it was just a higher scoring 3-2 was right on the money. The second half was...

Um...

The second half was.

1. hostile environment against a team we can't get up for

2. breaking in new players

3. BAD fuking luck all night long.

4. injuries to starters on offense

5. Defense only gave up 14

6. MSU is better than last year

7. We are the same as last year

8. It's still too early to judge Auburn by this performance. Our offensive playcalling was WAAAAAYYYY too conservative. That'll change for sure. Cam is still an x factor and bammy is still the only defense that concerns in the league.

9. We should have started Dyer from the beginning. Smith getting more reps at Fumbling Fannins position and starting Dyer would help a lot.

I don't know if MSU is all that better, honestly.

Not meant as an insult to Auburn, I just don't see it.

I think it's safe to say that neither MSU nor AU's offense is as good as advertised. And both teams defenses are better.

I'd agree. They're a decent team that is capable of catching a better team on a bad day, but they are not head and shoulders above last year. That being said, LSU is fully capable of losing to either team.

That game was horrible to watch.

My only observation: Relf sucks mule balls. He is absolute garbage. State probably would have won easily with juat a halfway decent QB.
