I don't freaking get it . . but I agree. THe part I don't get is that he's a damn statue--one would think we'd want to go at him. I guess I'm just not made for a 3-4 defense. I think Saban is content to "contain" and "affect" the QB.

Saban knows Mett overthrows the deep ball and our WRs can't catch a cold. He's content just playing contain and letting us stall ourselves.

I fricking hate Oregon. I simultaneously hope we win tonight and face them, and at the same time wonder about matchups and want to pound ND instead. But yes that's not football.
I think oregon COULD beat bama. i donht' think they will but i think they could. this oregeon team is nothing like the one in 2010 they ahve a legit QB now and they have legit elite weapons.

if they can sustain drives they will give bama fits. they are elite fast everywhere. and say what you want about kelly but he's an offensive genius. there is a reason nfl teams want him bad

On the plus side. The 2nd quarter, Bama has given up the most points in that one, vs all other quarters, so it should be downhill from here. They've only allowed 17 total points in the 3rd and 17 points in the 4th quarters, all year, total.

With a WR coach LSU still leads this game. frick off Billy G.. the second worst hire Miles has ever made (#1 being co-dcs)

If Miles leaves soon I at least hope we go after an offensive minded coach. Mike Leach maybe

Bama is playing down to their opponent, but that is to be expected in a trap game such as this.

Please don't.

We hold bands to a high standard at LSU. We're just too classy.

If two of those three blatant drops are caught, this game is dead even. That's why I don't feel like we "outplayed" them. It depends on how you look at it.

That's also why I don't understand the LSU fans all over Mett. He hasn't thrown a pick and a couple big plays were dropped. Not perfect, but not the liability some of us thought he'd be.

Bama needs to start the third with a long, soul-killing TD drive. Roll Bama!

Its the QBs job to throw a catchable pass, most of these passes have been horrible hitting the WRs right in the hands...

It's the passing game in general that's unfortunate. Wide open receivers are overthrown. Good passes are dropped. Story of our season.

He hasn't had the deer in the headlights look that Lee had in November and JJ had in January, that's for sure. He's managed the game fairly well and has set us up to be tied or in the lead.

WRs, penalties, and boneheaded coaching have cost us.
