Off Season Champions - calling it now.

Too late UT. LSU has pulled off the offseason upset in dominant fashion over Tennessee followed closely by Auburn. LSU's defensive coordinator is the 2nd best coach in the SEC behind only Saban and the rest of the SEC is collectively scared and melting. And Auburn has Joe Montana/Brady/Vick/Elway at quarterback and their 2nd team defense is the 2nd best defense in the SEC. This last minute flurry of Tennessee activity is only making the score look closer than the actual performance.
You had a nice streak Tennessee, but all hail the new offseason champions. LSU. And well done Auburn.

Does au have the 2nd best coach in the league as a coordinator? Does auburn have the most talent in the NCAA and NFL combined? Do auburn fans have the entire rest of the world scared and melting?
No one is denying that Auburn didn't have one hell of an offseason performance. But this is just like 2004. No matter how strong the performance (and then be clear, it was dominant and in other year would have easily won the titlle), it was an uphill battle due to pure number of LSU fans and their rallying around Ogre.

Does LSU outclass bama at every position group? Has Etling already won the Heisman? Would any of LSU's starting D get a chance to play when the AU 2nd string D was on the field? Didn't think so.

I'd love to give the title to you guys, but there were some stretches during the off season when Bowl was taking his medications and... well... the rest of you didn't step up as much as you should.
I give BowlJackson the MVP for the off season but as a fan base you can't edge out Orgeronmania.
