Might not have an option TBH.

Not that Florida couldn't get a decent established coach, but I don't know that an established coach who could win a championship would want to risk going to UF in its current state. But my mindset with coaches nowadays is to swing for the fences and just deal with the lumps that probably will come

Not sure they can hire Golesh giving the optics. That's their "we're broke and are going cheap" option.

optics don't mean shite if you win.

Tennessee bailed on schiano for "optics" and ended up with jeremy pruitt lol

Schiano got everything he wanted including getting new football facilities being built.

Honestly if you took all those dickheads and put them on the same team I wouldn’t take it over the Georgia staffs over the last 3 years.

I don’t want to see Alex Golesh land there or anywhere in the SEC too good of a coach

Correct. And it would be fricken glorious to watch. Fingers crossed that their admin is this deluded.

I don't see him leaving for anything other than the NFL at this point with his UofL connections.

I can all but guarantee you that won't happen. Pete Golding will probably get promoted to HC if Lane leaves.

I think they obviously have Kiffen as their first choice.

They would be crazy not to seriously consider Rhule or Klieman. They both can really coach and do way more, with less. Either would kill it at a place like Florida, and it's inherent recruiting advantages.

Thankfully, UF isn't seriously considering Golesh.

If I am UF's AD, he is my first call.

Put Golessh with a top DC, and the rest of us have serious problems.
