Armed robbery is determined from the viewpoint of the victim. The fact that it was a pellet gun, or an unloaded real gun for that matter, is irrelevant if the victim reasonably believed the suspect was armed.
They still may reduce it to some lesser offense since they are football players. That would not happen if it was you or me.

Even a fake gun in Louisiana is armed robbery. As long as the victim believes it is a weapon it is armed robbery. Pellet gun or not these guys will probably wind up on the prison team. Sad to see these kids mess up so badly.

The chick is taking the marijuana rap and now the UT sports radio call team thinks since it was only a pellet gun its not a big deal. You all bitched Fulmer had no control but now you are willing to justify the actions of 3 idiots who held up somebody at quite possibly the busiest gas station in Knoxville right there on the strip.

It just doesnt even seem possible that the charges would/could be dropped when they were arrested 12 hours ago. Its pretty elementary stuff that he would be at least an accessory because of him riding in the get away car.

Yeah its a unwritten rule that if you are rivals or scout ranked 5 or better out of high school you can't be charged.

So,within a week,JJ has been suspended for +drug test, a seperate altercation with a bounced-trying to sneak booze out of a club,and now armed robbery. WTF!! Whats going on!
