As an aside, Patagonia makes some extremely high quality combat clothing for Special Forces units.

They don't advertise that fact.

Just thought of another after reading lawyer post above.

In the 80s got hired by McDermott out of Amelia to represent 4 Egyptian engineers. They were overseeing construction of something, platform I guess.

They visited Southland Mall in Houma and while in J.C. Penney, while looking at some likely looking young Houma girls, proceeded to masturbate, as a group, behind a table of jeans, soiling the jeans in the process. Arrested and charged with indecent behavior or something like that.

They all came to my office, dressed business casual, and stunk up the place so bad my secretary was almost in tears. Doused the room with some floral scented crap she had. Had to work in library rest of day.
I've worked off shore, Army in field for weeks, corpses, etc., but worse was a Rouses in a nice neighborhood. With young son, maybe 5 or 6, when he announced at top of his lungs, "daddy, what's that smell? "

It hit me all of a sudden and first thought some one had spilled ammonia, but we weren't on cleaning supply aisle. A woman, fat but not much over 200 lbs. BO so bad you could taste it. One woman started gagging and others were walking away. Still can't believe an alive human could get that bad.

Brought to mind soldiers talking about a rag over face and mouth with a drop of gasoline to kill smell.
Depending on the city, the "it's always them Bobo" are already on Southwest.

Had to return to gate in ATL because one got into it with a stewardess giving safety briefing as we were taxing to take off. Arrested but cuffs apparently didn't fit.
35 - 40 years ago in hospital to have an ocular implant, cataracts. About 5 patients in beds, drips in, etc., in some kind of pre staging area. A big chalk board with the procedures scheduled that morning.

Guy comes over and asks "are you the total knee replacement"?

I respond loudly no, ocular implant. He frowns, looks at his notes and leaves the room. The total knee is on the chalk board but he didn't look further.

Nurse gives me the sleepy shot and as I'm getting groggy another person comes up and asks "are you the total knee replacement "?

Next thing I remember is waking up, can't see, afraid my leg is being operated on. Heard my doctors voice "xxxx are you awake? Almost finished".

Thank God.

It happens more than you think.
Meyers shoulder pads looked over size. He would throw those into the helmet of receivers that came over the middle.

Different game.
Was a launch control specialist at a NATO site in W. Germany in 70s. Pershing 1A system, nuclear missile. During 4 minute countdown a key is brought to launch station to enable warhead. Real key big. Brass and heavy.

We used a dummy key for practice runs. Real keys kept locked under system that requires dual access.

They lost the dummy key and brought me a key from some piece of equipment that was similar to the real key that I had only seen photos of.

When I saw that key I thought a real launch and that meant we were launching 4 Pershing missiles each with a yield up to 400 kt. Meant the Soviets had already launched their Scud or SS 20 missiles at us. We were above ground.

WW III.

Colt Combat Commander 1911 in 9 mm.

Was on Gunbroker. Serial number, surprised it was visible, was 5 away from one I had and bought new in late 70's. Gun very rough. Got outbid last few seconds. Under $500.00.

Kick myself.
Dems are losing legit voters. Not having children like MAGA. Need no ID for fraud. Everyone is aware except white Karens. They believe racism. Know one.
My son.

18E. Everywhere you've heard of and other places.

My father.

Army Infantry. WW II. Italy, France, Germany.
I read years ago about a guy whose weekend passion was driving, not the destination, just the driving.
Put a million miles on a Volvo or Saab.
You two would get along.
Smith 442, 5 shot .38 special 2 in. Revolver. Sometimes Shield 9 mm, original model, IWB holster.
Sitting in Louisiana History class, eighth grade, Houma Junior High. Announcement over loud speaker from school office.
Democrats preaching secession in order to keep people they imported into the country.

Dejavu all over again.
Not affected myself but feel for the military enlisted ranks and families.

That was me 55 years ago.

State Farm 2 vehicles full overage. Premium gone down about 10 % each of last 2 six month renewals.
Dowd is failing to understand that when you were once on the right you will be conditionally accepted by the left as long as you spew their propaganda.

They still hate you but you are useful to them as long as you say what they want you to say.

When you are no longer useful they don't give a shite.

See Liz Cheney, the crying guy on Jan 6 committee, etc.
