Look about like this:

Tier 1 (ranked in AP Preseason Top 5):
Alabama, Georgia, Texas

Tier 2 (ranked in AP Preseason 6-10)
Ole Miss

Tier 3 (ranked in AP Preseason 11-25)
LSU, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Missouri

Tier 4 (receiving AP Preseason votes/ 26-35 range)
Auburn, Texas A&M, Kentucky

Tier 5 (not expected to compete seriously)
South Carolina, Florida, Arkansas, Mississippi St, Vanderbilt

As far as a 1-16 order, I suspect the prognosticators will rank them like this:

1. Georgia
2. Alabama
3. Texas
4. Ole Miss
5. LSU
6. Oklahoma
7. Missouri
8. Tennessee
9. Auburn
10. Texas A&M
11. Kentucky
12. South Carolina
13. Florida
14. Arkansas
15. Mississippi St
16. Vanderbilt

I'd swap OK & MO; but outside of that, this looks about right

bizarre but spot on. They’ll be very lucky if they somehow avoid a 4th straight losing season.

Lol- what did you see the other day that leads you to think Auburn isn't an absolute dumpster fire?

Texas loses most of its defense, and still has the same fragile, jeckyl and hyde personality at QB. Unless he declares.

Auburn is last with no QB.

They are not avoiding a losing season with that schedule...

Mizzou should be 5.

Some lists have them 4. This is the lowest I’ve seen but even then I’ll take it.

Having to deal with lists having us last all off-season to this is quite refreshing lol

Texas should be Tier 2. Quinn is coming back (probably) but they're losing a lot, particularly on the D line. Although they're recruiting well, I don't think they have the depth to reload like Alabama and Georgia.

I think Ole Miss will start the season ranked #8.

If we pick up the OL from the portal that I think we're gonna get, we'll be around #5. Except for the Georgia game, we'll be favored in every game next season.

OM losing a lot as well. Only Tier 1 teams are UGA and Bama once again. I might put MZ up there because they bring back almost everybody.

Let's hope your insight is similar to your assessment on the '23 Texas squad:

"I cannot believe you numb nuts actually believe your roster is Alabama level. It isn't remotely. Your depth is also not up to snuff.

Ewers has never produced as a 5* - he had the same stats that Conner Weigman had in Fisher's craptastic offense last year. Oh yeah, Conner didn't even play half of the year. You have one good OL in Banks. Your RB is completely unproven and a true freshman. Your TE should have been a DE, especially given how terrible you admit you are at the edge. Your receivers are all unproven, and one of them is also a freshman.

Guess what talented freshmen get you in the SEC? 5-7

That is some grade A delusion.

Shall we do the defense? Your defense isn't remotely good enough for the SEC, though it should be sufficient for the B12. Catalon is your only proven player, and he is often injured.

Sarkisian often forgets he has to play defense, which is why he is a mediocre HC."

Not on offense. And we're upgrading talent on defense. We will see.

Ole Miss isn't 'losing a lot.' Many coming back, plus some major pickups through the portal, particularly on defense, it's been announced.

We're definitely going to be behind Georgia, Alabama, OSU, Michigan and Oregon. I think we'll also be behind Texas and Washington or Oklahoma.

Then I would put them up there as well. Their schedule is pretty easy
