And everyone was mad at Saban when he called this years ago. College football is done. Alabama shouldn’t be in it. The product is tanking because it’s eating itself.

In a twelve team playoff who should have been in who was left out? Because Notre Dame played two hard games and lost both of them. They did not play in a conference championship game either. So frick that bullshite. Now Vandy might have an argument but Notre Dame is getting what they deserve. They choose to not join a conference because they want to keep the money for themselves. Well……there are risks with that strategy as they found out today. So frick ‘em.

Depends on how that decision was made.

It’s not as simple as you or I are making jt

I don’t understand that they have a chance to get younger players playing time. I look at this now as a preseason game for the next year.

In 2023 (latest I saw) the payout for the Pop Tarts bowl was $6m per team. I'm guessing that money would be useful in this NIL era?

Hey, ND, here's a thought. See if you can get in JMU's conference...

No one, I mean no one should schedule ND in the regular season going forward.

Totally agree with my fellow Mizzou brother...

Give them a zero resume from here on, and it will take care of itself....

After O was fired, LSU has like 30 scholarship players left and no QB and still played the bowl.

Well I would be pissed knowing that Tulane somehow was more deserving. Then again I would have taken another school above ND as a CFP selection.

It’s pretty simple.
It’s an opportunity for a postseason game.
But I’ll agree to disagree.

If ND is going to go and pout, I would say the committee made the right decision. They don’t deserve it.

Respect the game or leave

How can anyone respect a game that doesn't even respect itself? Football in all aspects from, recruiting to determining playoff matchups, has become a tangled mess. When the sport has become so knotted, it may be time to cut out the knot and completely start over. It's just going to get worse trying to untangle everything.
