I understand the sensitivity at the time when they dropped it after the accident...but that didn't stop them from allowing beer sales in the stadiums a few years back. Not reintroducing the Beer Barrel, but allowing beer sales in the stadiums is hypocritical.

Tennessee has beaten Kentucky 3 of the last 5 years...(with some players gaining a 6th year of eligibility under COVID rules)...for all of the players on these two teams, UT has had the upper hand in the series during their eligibility (3 of 5) and in their lifetime (19 of 22).

Since 2016, Kentucky’s record is 43-28 overall, 24-24 in SEC games; Tennessee’s is 33-35, 16-31 in the SEC.
The Cats have gone to five straight bowls, while the Vols have only been to two in the same time period, the Music City Bowl in 2016 and the Gator Bowl in 2020. 'In the past three years, 13 Kentucky Wildcats have been drafted to Tennessee’s four.

You can’t reason with UTjr fans. They are the bottom of the barrel. Vol Twitter is a real thing and it’s tiring as frick. I’d rather eat dinner with Louisville fans every night of the week than have a 30 second conversation with a vol fan. The epitome of peaked in the 90s.

Who wants to get out there, practice all week, and then knock the shite out of each other for an empty wooden barrel ?
Up here - we cut those damn things in half - at least they make a nice planter that way. Shitty trophy, though. Why fight over that ?
