Stoops really took the wind out of the cat's sails with that loss to Starkvegas. This stuff always leaves the impression that success is not sustainable for the bluegrass boys.
The vols have been licking their wounds this off week so not much there either.
Frankly, it's just one of those east games that only the locals can follow.

Agree. We always have a game that we lose that we shouldn't, at least one, and that was it. But worse than the loss, was the manner of the loss, after a bye week.
Stoops has trouble motivating his team.
I'm pretty meh now. We threw away what could have been a special season.

I've been busy with work and stuff. Can't say I've very excited about my Cats after last week's complete systems failure (except.... somehow we ran a punt back..??) Didn't bother to watch the 2nd half... really glad I didn't.
The Vols will run us off the field if the Cats coach and play like the MSU game.
If the Cats play well, we should win by 2 scores.
But I'm not holding my breath. I really don't know what to expect from the Cats from game to game. Really inconsistent and, frankly, schizophrenic.
As to the Vols, it's actually good to see Hooker playing well.... I wasn't sure he'd be a fit at UT, but he and Coach Hype seem to have it together. If y'all had some depth, you'd probably be having a really nice season.
Hope y'all have a nice time in Lex, except for the game.

Tennessee basketball has beaten UK more than any other SEC team in history. UK football has won only 3 times in the last 4 decades against UT. Basketball is not even a main priority at UT and coach Cal is 500. against Rick Barnes. That must suck.
