Nothing but respect for Georgia

They kicked our asses not once but twice, and for that I pay my respects.
Georgia was just out of gas. It had been a long season. You could see it. They were worn down by the SEC grind. If Notre Dame had played Georgia's schedule, they would have been a limping pile of shite.
Luckily Texas drew an easier schedule than Georgia, and remains alive in the playoff. I wouldn't say that Texas is worn down, but Texas is just not championship caliber. Ewers is healthy, but that don't mean shite.
Texas has spent all season trying to find that next gear, and damned if they can't seem to find it. The next notch up eludes Texas. Texas can't finish games. They can't take out the jugular. Even Mack Brown's teams knew how to do this, but Sark's bunch can't seem to find that level of willpower and gut-level emotion that it takes to finish somebody.
Georgia was indeed the best the SEC had to offer this year, but we see what the effin grind is doing to our teams in the post-season. (unless they play Duke) Ohio State is fresh. Notre Dame is fresh. Look who they've been playing while Georgia has been lining up for an arse-kicking contest week after week. It takes a toll.
Shite. I'm starting to sound like an SEC homer. Well anyway, Go Dawgs, and I'll never slight a man that whoops my arse. Twice.
All respect.

Rooting for the Longhorns to win it all.
Go Texas. Go SEC.

Stop sucking arse you pussy. Your season ends vs Ohio State. You can’t hide from the SEC forever but you managed to do it the 1st two seasons

Meh, I think the SEC wasn’t very good this year.

But its still brutal and painful. If the SEC is good at anything, its wrecking shop.

It’s funny because when the SEC losses happened at the beginning of the season (Notre Dame over A&M, USC over LSU, Miami absolutely decimating Florida, Cal over Auburn, Georgia State over Vanderbilt), the excuse was “it’s too early in the season and teams are still trying to figure things out”. Now it’s “we were too beat up to compete”.

I don’t know why all you cockknockers are beating your chests. It took you a quarter of a century to overcome the SEC. One bad year. Good on you dildos. Congrats. It’s about time.

A fan of Auburn certainly can't be blamed for thinking that way.

Smart is a good coach so he dragged that team to more accomplishments than sum of the parts ought to have achieved. Very similar to what Saban did in 2023.
However that team had a lot of problems. They’re sort of mediocre at the skill positions on offense. Their OL had protection issues at times all year (I think injuries got them there). Defense was a bit slow compared to previous years. Opponents could really work them on runs to the edge that prior Smart teams would clean up.
You go on a run like UGA did between 2021-2023, you’re going to have a year like this where the pieces don’t quite all fit. Draft attrition gets you and staff turnover becomes an issue usually too.

Thank you Mt Vernon. Enjoyed my visit to Austin this year. The Longhorn fans were good hosts.
I felt like ND was going to win since the seedings were made. UGA had a good enough defense to keep them in many games this year but the offense just never clicked. Had to catch up with them at some point. Ohio State would have beaten them badly so at least we don’t have to watch that.
See you in Athens next year.

And this is why we say Texas had an easy schedule. You admit it in effect in this post.
