Yep, and he has gotten far more coverage for A&M's recruiting class because of it. It's been highlighting talking heads discussions ever since.
Now you may think it is bad publicity but the reality is that over and over it is being repeated about A&M having the #1 Class and how it is shaking up the CFB world. He also made a hell of a lot of very good points and showed a ton of fire and passion. I don't know how it doesn't result in more recruits wanting to k now more about what is going on at A&M and having interest in the school. That's the end goal.

I was fine with his answer.
I think he’s more annoyed with Joey Freshwater whining GD much about how unfair it is and then turning around and bragging about being the portal king.
I’d rather have a coach that stands up for his university than a little, whiny, broke arse bitch complaining that his fanbase is too poor to compete.

This is what I'm talking about! Following that narrative would have made sense because it is more honest than what he said. Once again NIL is legal. I'm just confused on being so stringent to deny it.

When Jimbo said it wasn’t NIL, he was simply speaking the truth. It is not legal to offer NIL deals to high school seniors to get them to sign letters of intent. The money paid by the Aggies was simply good old fashioned bag dropping. Aggies like to say it was NIL because it makes them feel like they didn’t cheat their arse off. For the life of me I can’t understand why you guys don’t understand the difference between N IL and bagdropping.
