I dont want to go that far. I am guessing obvious bias aside he would say that they won 6 titles in less trips, so when they go they are more likely to win.

That said, Texas has been at the CWS at like 1/2 the CWS ever. so FSU made the tourney 44 straight times, Texas has been like 37 or 38 times to the CWS. That is incredible.

and I agree with another poster, 12 titles for So Cal is incredible, but in the last 20 years they have done nothing.

You don't really realize how good some of the legendary coaches are until they retire like Martin at FSU.

Texas also has 6 runner ups in addition to their 6 titles.
I fricking hate Texas but they are #2 on the list.

I mean, just in the last few year we have seen Ole Miss and Coastal Carolina win the World Series. It’s a crapshoot and takes a lot of luck

Consistency over decades is more of an indication

Some can do this and win titles.

Vanderbilt now has the longest streak at 17.

Imagine rooting for a team that hasn’t won a conference title since George Bush was president!

And that would be weird. If two teams have the same number of titles, but one has almost twice as many CWS appearances as the other, the one with more appearances would be higher.

Screw Texas, but a tip of the cap for being consistently in the mix.
