“I’m a high school.....”

The NFL is a turd. No loyalty to the cities they're in. None.
Give me the college game all day every day.

Once again, you’re saying just because people very specifically where you live SEEM to not care about football, that means people everywhere don’t anymore?
As cities grow, CFB will lose interest. Just because it is in the south doesn’t mean Atlanta is immune to the cultured big cities. No one gives a shite about CFB in NY, Chicago, or anywhere in California. The most popular sport is either NBA or sometimes NFL.
I guarantee you that as America moves further down the stages of the Human Development Index, places that were once CFB crazy will turn further away from sports in general. Birmingham, Nashville, San Antonio, Charleston. People will care less about college football.

Not surprising. I wasn’t much into college football and neither were my buddies during high school. It wasn’t until we all attended college and established true allegiance to our various teams did it become more important than the NFL/NBA.

Are you 16 years old? I never said middle aged people don’t like College.

Same here. I don't think it's that uncommon.

The first college football game I watched was the first A&M game of my freshman year. I haven’t missed one on tv or in person 10 years later. Check back in here 3/4 years later when all of your friends are in college and see if you feel the same way.
I don’t remember any of my friends talking about college football in high school. Now we make plans about where we are going to watch games

I don’t think you understand.
I was watching CFB (A&M vs LSU) when it was like 63-63 or something, and my friends walk in the room and yells “frick College Football!! This shite is so boring!”without even looking at the score.

I know it was way more popular during the 90s.
I was a sophomore in high school in the 90’s and this below describes my school as well. I don’t see any change between my experience and your experience.

At my school, the only thing people care about it the NBA, if they care about sports at all. If people my age watch football, nobody watches college, it’s always NFL.

Your original post said people right now don’t care. You’re trying to apply your anecdotal evidence and apply it over the whole country. That’s literally the only thing you are using to prove your statement that right now people don’t care. And most places like NY or Chicago have never really cared about CFB in the first place.

When I was a sophomore I pulled for UGA half ares. I went to UGA and am now a die hard fan. That’s how it goes

I just hate that all that people my age care about in sports today is basketball players with raging egos and games that don’t matter that much.
Before you say Dear Facebook, I don’t have a Facebook account so I’m posting it here.

You are correct. I should have said “Nobody will care about CFB anymore.”
As for the other part. Since the 80’s Atlanta has grown to be by far the most developed city in the south, with the exception of MAYBE Dallas and Miami.
I guarantee you cities Birmingham and Nashville will become more like Metro Atlanta

but kids in Metro Atlanta spend their Saturday playing Fortnit, yelling RIP XXXTencacion, and saying free 6ix9ine
I'm going to put this in the nicest terms possible. Your friends are low IQ morons.

I know it man. There’s literally a kid in my Spanish class who walked in with Warriors gear from head to toe and yelled 6ix9ine is innocent. Smh

Georgia and Auburn fans need to check their privilege with this “I don’t like CFB anymore.” shite. Don’t you think Tennessee fans wish they could just not care anymore after losing 5 of 7 to Vanderbilt?
Posted on 12/7/18 at 9:05 pm to diddlydawg7
If CFB drastically drops off in interest, it’ll be because football as a whole starts dying. Which is very much a possibility within the next couple of decades because of all the CTE issues.
