Quite a reduction from his earlier estimation of universal.

The stupidity of your post just barely surpasses the ignorance of the belief you have in it.

No melt from auburn.Instead they fire the weak link and start figuring out how to be better next year starting with extra practices before the bowl game. Kudos and most of you LSU fans could learn something from them.

After a fourth loss, people don't tend to care a whole hell of a lot anymore.

Our defense looked terrible the second half of the season. The 55 points scored in the IB just point the exclamation point on the fact a change needed to be made.

BTW --- I will be sad if we do not get Muschamp.

This really did take nearly all the sting out of the game. Only thing that still sucks is that we had you and now you're going to win the title.

However, if the hire isn't Muschamp I will revert back to full melt mode.

Most aren't melting. Some here are. But can't compare to LSU. They admit they're the gold standard of melting.

Until an LSU fan kills multiple fellow LSU fans over a loss, Bama is and will continue to be the the epitome of melting.

This happened the last few times AU lost the Iron Bowl. They cut their losses and start moving on to fixing the issues. AU doesn't frick around.

And how many DUMB@$$ SC fans want to hire that weak link back to coach defense? SMDH.

We have a favorable schedule next year, JJ taking over at QB, some studs coming in this recruiting class, and our young guys were the bright spots on the team this year. It was time to trim the fat, get a DC in that can at least make the defense serviceable, and kick some arse next year.

We have a HC that can go toe to toe with anyone. Hopefully, he gets the right guy on the other side of the ball to compliment the offense.

I agree with your entire post except for the fact that I think Nick Marshal is actually a big loss. He was scary running the ball and just decent enough of a passer to cause problems. JJ doesn't scare me as much running the ball but he is a much much better passer though.

The problem with most of you on the rant is that LSU fans have MORE to look forward to as in other sports, not just next years football team. Alabama and Auburn fans could learn something from that!!!!!

Going into the game many felt that Saban and Alabama had the potential to end the game early. Auburn had a terrible start, but then kept fighting on the road and had a chance.

Red zone offense and defense won it for Bama.

Auburn has Israel syndrome in the sense that it's a small geographic halo of security sandwiched between very hostile, rival forces that hope we are wiped from this earth. It has a militant way of making sure you get shite done and done quickly.

They know they can't sit back and hope and pray things improve - they have to be moving forward 24/7 these days. The problem arises when you change coaches/schemes/philosophies multiple times the players have to start from scratch every other year and can't gain any traction in the program.

They had more traction day 1 then at the end of this season. That was the problem.
