I don’t think it’s politics. P5 football is pricing itself above what its fans can afford, or what they want to spend for this form of entertainment.

Good gracious you are a vagina. I'll bet you were for the targeting rule. Everything is racist or Trump is a bad man with you.

This is what many are tired of. You talk a lot, but you don't listen.

I've always understood that Sports is entertainment, that why I've always insisted that the front line Talent get paid fairly, especially at the College Level where the players have no representation and are unfairly capped by the NCAA

When they cease to entertain, they become, frankly, worthless to me.

So they're not humans?

SEC football is living off the legacy of the past. If it wasn’t for the traditions and passion created in the 1970’s and earlier no one would even care about football today. Same thing goes for the NFL.

BBcore bats are killing college baseball, the NCAA is responsible for that.

College football is more popular than ever ....

What we need are more “I’m gonna quit sports” and “rich people don’t like football” and “football will be gone by next week” and “no chance in hell there will be football this year or the next three” and “I’d like to punch college football right in the face” threads.

Ffs, if you’re this down on it, go light up the poliboard or somesuch. No one wants to read this recycled shite.

Attitudes born of this protest era go too far and will make many people (like me) walk away from college and pro football altogether. It really is that simple.

Yep.

So they're not humans?

Every bit as human as a European team handball player. Do you care one bit about them?

I wish them no ill, but once they no longer fulfill any meaningful service to me, they become ... irrelevant. That's not an unusual concept.

Again, I mentioned boxing. There was once a time Muhammad Ali was probably one of the most recognizable people in the world, and it was when he still fought. These days, I have no idea who's heavyweight champ, and really don't care about that person one way or the other.

When a sport does something to lose it's appeal, you don't find the players antagonistic after awhile, you simply don't care about them at all. They make money because they command attention. When they stop commanding attention, the money goes away.

Football is not dying. NCAA attendance may be down some but sports Universally are seeing attendance issues.

NCAA football is fine.

Welcome to the real world, YOUR TEAM was never on your side on these types of issues, you mistakenly interpreted their silence to mean they agreed with you on these types of issues

Do they do that at work, church, or any other places that have nothing to do with politics?

Ok so walk away like a man and not bitch about it. You're like a teenage girl that needs to post an essay before deleting her Facebook/insta/twitter.

Football, in general, and college football in particular is an activity and pursuit followed largely by conservative males - especially in the South and Midwest. It is basically a cultural statue in these regions. Therefore, in the eyes of the totalitarian Marxist Left, it must be torn down. If you think there isn't a concerted effort to destroy anything identified with traditional American values and heritage, you haven't been awake for the last 30 years. Certainly not the last 12.
