NIL has ruined college football, for Saban

He can no longer get 15 of the top 20 players every year. He’s only getting 2 or 3 now. NIL has leveled the playing field.
Parity.
It’s pretty easy to win consistently when you have the strongest, fastest, most talented athletes. Coaching matters less when you have the better team. Take away this advantage and Bama is no longer unbeatable.
Think about it. Bama was very close to being 4-3 right now. What would the narrative be right now if Bama was 4-3 with the returning Heisman Trophy winner?

But look at his current class for next year Grindr.

Bama doesn’t have a talent issue. They don’t have a recruiting issue.
Bama has a coaching issue.
Bama has a coaching issue.

We need that thread unanchored in the worst way so all the idiots can post their clearly debunked opinions in one place.

Now we see why he had a break down in the off season over Jimbo and the NIL.

That’s a fact. BoB and Golding are as stubborn as Les Miles.

He is pissed that everyone can now pay players. The Ol play for a Charger won't cut it. He is also mad you don't have to actually recruit HS talent. Just use the portal.

Yeah and if you listen to most Bama fans, they blame BOB for that loss to Tennessee. If your offense puts up 49, you shouldn’t be blaming the offensive coordinator. Golding is bad.

To be honest, we have hated Golding for several years now. While we hate Saban’s loyalty to the drunken, bearded turd, we have come to accept it is what it is. O’Brien has only been with us 1.5 years now.

Alabama has not only the #1 ranked class, but five 5 star recruits. The next closest team is Texas with 3 . LSU has a big fat ZERO

Yes bc those dodge chargers won’t just do it anymore. Since everyone can pay a player now, it makes it harder. Even if A&M paid for their class last year, Bama has been doing it for years. Saban just doesn’t like the fact that the playing field is leveled now.

Saban's issue is Saban. His unwillingness to evolve defensively is killing Alabama. Complex pro level man to man schemes are easily attacked on the college level because you can confuse 18-21 year olds easily with stacks and motions. You don't have the time to properly teach them everything because of time constraints unlike at the pro level. He needs to simplify the scheme and let the athletes make the plays

The problem isn’t getting the great classes, it’s the portal and what the players will do the second they get butthurt.

Then I guess there’s no problem. Bama should expect to go undefeated from here forward. Looks like you’re the best. No one else is even close.

Unlimited free agency I think has more to do with it.

Bama is also a missed field goal away from being 7-0 with three victories in very hostile environments.
I know you guys are beyond eager for the dynasty to be buried in the ground, but we're not there yet.
