Nico can't enter portal fast enough
With his value going down big time he would be crazy to forfeit his full NIL money that is dependent on him finishing the season to receive it all. Heck his NIL value next season might be 50K if he doesn't get going at UCLA.

He probably just needs to enter the draft this year and hope he makes a roster as an UDFA or late round pick. His value is so bad at the NIL level at this point, no team worth a shite is going to want him.

Coaches are egomaniacs and think they can fix anyone. Unfortunately they're usually wrong, see DJU at FSU and TJ Finley at the 13 schools has played at.

On3 valued DJU's NIL deal at $450k at FSU. Obviously, no idea how accurate any of that was. DJU also had a respectable season at Oregon St after leaving Clemson. He wasn't getting blown out by New Mexico sitting at 0-3. He actually got them to an 8-2 record but closed the season with 3 straight games against top 15 teams.
TJ Finley has been bouncing around G5 schools with tiny budgets, not P4 schools that pay a lot for a starting QB. His last 4 schools have been Texas St, Western Kentucky, Tulane (never played there), and Georgia St. Highly, highly doubt Nico would be willing to go that route or get paid less than a million to come back to college

FSU gave DJ Ugh a million dollars. Matthew Sluka is probably the biggest moron of all as he demanded that money from UNLV last season and now he is at James Madison as a backup QB.

He would have no option except basic stipend money if anyone looks at his TN and UCLA game tape. TN clearly was winning with running game and defense mostly.

Unless he is dumber than a sack of hammers he has enough of Tennessee's money to last a lifetime....but given he was made a millionaire by Tennessee boosters he is probably dumber than a sack of hammers and is about broke if not deep in debt...I would have been if someone handed me a pile of cash at 18. Id have some damned find memories though....

I always have a little schadenfreude when a professional athlete who played long enough to have life altering money blows it all.

Dylan Sampson, our run blockers, and the defense took Tennessee to the playoffs.
