The bad news for all of you wishing and
hoping is that Saban looked happier
and enjoying the moment than we've seen before
and will be back on the job, full-time, tomorrow.

JMO but I believe 75 is the goal depending on his and Terry's health. It could be less but not more.

Good God. If I work a day past 60 that would be a surprise. Would like to retire before then

Admit it. Bama fans would be ready to run him out of town if saban did that.

I think he'll coach until he's 75 or 76.

Bama will win 3 more nattys in that time.

Bro, Saban went 11-2 and finished No. 8 last season.

Saban gets 3 more Natty's before he's done. Dabo and Day both retire before him. Pulling in best recruiting class if all time to go with best season of all time, replacing departing oc with bill o'brien. He's not going anywhere, going to enjoy what he's built

Nick Saban turns 70 this year

The problem is that he looks 50 and looks to be in great shape for his age. He isn't slowing down, unfortunately.

Damn Coach Bryant was an old man at 69. That's what 2 packs of Chesterfield's and liquor every night will do for you.

1. I heard a lot of grumbling last year.

2. Don't gloss over the "two years in a row" part.

My dad worked till he was 80 because he loved what he was doing. Still sharp. With his CEO style Saban could work another 10 years. We have to learn to compete. Not sure how to do that but I know waiting around ain't the answer.

Well your new coach damn sure ain't waiting around. He's bringing in some top shelf recruiters.

Yeah, he hangs it up at age 80. Learn to co-exist. Sneak a title in here and there like we did last season. That’s all. He’s gonna end up with 10 titles when it’s all said and done.

Certainly plausible but there’s only been two hall of game coaches to coach deep into their 70s before and they didn’t do well. (Bowden and Paterno)

Bowden won four conference championships in his seventies.

By way of comparison, Auburn has won four conference championships in the last 31 years.

Just heard from the Rivals guy on XM. Said Saban just signed the greatest OL class ever.
